You'd have to look really, really hard to find a worse president than Trump. It'd have to be an even worse psycho megalomaniac, like I don't know, Kim Jongun or Putin. At this point none of the Dem candidates are that bad. They can be whatever you say. They're not Trump. They're not gonna do the damage Trump has done to the office, the country, the world.

Sanders is actually the best candidate precisely because he's the most radical. First of all his most radical policies will never see the light of day, Congress will just never let those fly, not even a Democratic congress. Not this decade, not this generation even. But he would undo a lot of the damage Trump has done and most importantly he would start a trend in the right direction.

That's my thinking.

He's extreme, but a lot of his proposed radical changes would be balanced out so we hopefully get something more in the middle.

We shouldn't rely on politicians to make life better for us. The fact that most Americans do is part of why things are sliding. If the average person is educated to rely on themselves and the resources and tools they know they have access to rather than the government then things would get much better. However, too many people are not even aware of how capable they are as individuals, and part of the reason for that is the fact that more and more so children's brains are being developed in a manner that makes them think that only politicians and government can make their lives better, which is both wrong and a scary direction for society to develop.

Yeah but politicians are the only ones with the power to actually change laws though
