(Turns out the worst thing you can do when you're fed up with your drugs is to quit them all immediately at the same time, unless you like the void, which is an interesting place at least) Now if I feel one coming on I just think about how much I don't give a shit, because it's only going to last 20 seconds at most before your brain's natural calming mechanisms kick in. Then you feel pretty good. So it's kind of like taking a huge dump. I literally try to make myself more anxious when I feel one coming on just to get it out of the way. Just try to make it worse next time TC, the sense of control brings me back to reality pretty quickly. Worst case scenario you feel shitty for 30 seconds instead of 20. --- |
