You know what's sad? At this point this is so comment that my response is practically already written.

The officials that signed off on the raid should be sued and held accountable.

The body cam footage of the shooting should be visited to see if they identified themselves and gave orders. If they did they should be off the hook(but not the officials who ordered it). If there is no body cam they should be held accountable by default because at this point every department should have them in some form.

It's as simple as that. Police should only be responsible for conducting the raid properly, not ensuring its necessary. Higher uos should be responsible for making sure raids are appropriate.

Disney wouldn't be allowed to buy Universal or Sony, that'd get into monopoly territory.

I don't know anything about it other than what's stated in the movie.

It hasn't been seen in generations, and there is some sort of power to it, and it allowed the shenanigans between with Reylo.

Could be. I don't think we see an interdictor any later than rebels, which is the main source of the issue.

Doesn't solve the hyper drives though, the main reason fighters don't have them is they're meant to be short range and disposable.

Far as I know, the only fighters they have with hyperdrives are experimental or limited production ones, like Vader's fighter.

First example I noticed in TROS was tie fighters don't have hyperdrives.....

Also, it's well established in both old and new canon that you can't my lightspeed jumps while in a gravity well, so that gets both TFS and TROS.

i mean in TLJ with rain, sure. But neither one of them were doing it. Its also unclear if whats happening to them uses their Force at all.

Every time Rey and Kylo Ren did this they were nearby. She was on his ship that was hovering over a city. At the end they were even closer.

Kylo literally pulled off her necklace and used it to discover what planet she was on.

Not th interested, but I gotta admit their passion goes a long way to selling it.

Not quite. Proposal to me means you're directly working towards that end, even if it might still take a bit to get there. It doesn't mean you have to set a date now, but you start looking, you start saving. Wedding becomes a real goal rather than just a promise.

Show is goddamn powerful. I'll admit I haven't finished it yet, but only because it takes a goddamn lot out of me. I've heard nothing but amazing things about the rest of the show, and the writing is some of the most brilliant I've seen in TV, both in terms of comedy and drama.

Lack of career, still pursuing degrees, lack of $$$, etc.

But I will admit, after 10 years, you lose that spark which is what I meant by "that feeling".

Literally none of that means you can't make the commitment. Proposal isn't saying you're ready to settle down or even get married right away, just that you're making that commitment.

Atheists don't tend to have a problem with LGBTQ+. You could, however, make the argument that religious people are only religious because it justifies their bigotry, but then what's the difference?

I know of many, many on this board alone who disprove that. Bigotry happens regardless. It's honestly pretty natural, but that doesn't make it ok.

I think Doom is the Loki for this new phase. Hell be in at least one Avengers movie but be a thorn mostly in like the F4s side.

I think Galactus or Kang will be the next big bad for this phase tbh.

I honestly hope not. I don't want Doom to be pigeonholed into the Loki role, I hope he remains a lasting antagonist.

For another Trilogy? None realistic right now. But for lead villain in Avengers, Norman doom Ultron Kang all could work.

As someone else posted, it becomes clearer if you scale it up to a much larger number of doors.

That still doesn't fix my problem. Imagine you aren't choosing to switch, but instead he just asks you to pick a door again. You're choosing between two doors, but only one has a 50% chance of being right. I get the logic and math behind it but it fucks with my head so much lol

What really melts my mind with the problem is how sticking with the door at the end doesn't have the same odds. It ends with two doors, and one has a significantly higher chance of being right

So just convenient plot contrivances. Got it.

And when is that explained? Do they explain how they got away? Do they explain how nobody noticed Chewie getting arrested despite happening only a short distance away? Do they explain why none of the stormtroopers went up to the ship that was plainly visible and starting its engines? Do they explain how nobody noticed the other transports and so instantly assumed the one was what held it? Do they explain how Rey couldn't sense chewie aboard that transport, despite just a few minutes later sensing him on a different ship from a further distance?
