TC it sounds like you have the American Dream already. House, cars, health. What more do you really need to be happy?

Only worry about what you can control. I learned from one of my bosses as a mantra and seriously it is a mindset good for both professional and personal life.

Idk man, not living basically paycheck to paycheck would do wonders lol.

Id really like to do some traveling, but cant afford, or get that time off of work.

Cant finish college without putting myself 50k in debt, having to switch careers fields. Id have to go while working full time, which I know people do, but would be hard for me with our pets.

I'm in the same situation as you but replace "pets" with "2 kids."

Im sure its harder with kids than pets. We have 5, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Cats would be fine, but I cant just leave my dogs locked up the entire day.

As far as kids go, I want them, but know I cant currently afford them. I wouldnt be able to truly provide, I dont want them to worry about any financial stress.

I made a topic last week about a kid I went to HS with, who robbed a bank 5 years ago, and is currently vacationing in Turks and Caicos.

Today, I stumbled upon the IG of another old HS classmate. This one takes the cake.

Shes like 25, has lived in Thailand and now Hawaii. Works as dive master and underwater videographer.

Shell never have a real job. She lives in paradise. Her duties are swimming in beautiful oceans, and taking pictures of rare sea life. All because her parents are rich.

For context, this is the house she grew up in. Had to drive by to get to school every day. Must be nice to live like a fucking Kardashian. (Pic for reference)

Meanwhile, Im over here touching used tissues in peoples bags. Never been on vacation. Had to buy all my own vehicles. Etc

Just kinda frustrating

Its possible that he was tired/exhausted, and it just slipped his mind.

However when our other friend mentioned he should buy us dinner, the guy that was moving kinda gave him a death glare. But then probably thought about the situation, and accepted begrudgingly.

Weve all helped each other move before, and SOMETHING has always been provided

im getting cheapskate vibes

granted moving is v expensive and hes probably out of pocket rn but if its etiquette in your group then...

Yeah I mean moving sucks, but $20-30 in pizza/beer goes a very long way in terms of gratitude and keeping everyone happy.

well the people who don't plan to hire people to move his stuff usually also the same people who don't plan to treat his friends to drinks and foods

Eh maybe. I mean we arent even 30 yet, I dont expect him to hire movers.

Plus pizza and beer is way cheaper than movers would be.

I helped my buddy move this weekend. Getting his stuff out of his roommates house wasnt too bad... but he moved into 3rd floor apartment. King sized bed, couch, dresser, entertainment center, etc.

Probably 15 trips up and down 3 flights of stairs. Stuffy, hot ass stairway, with no elevator.

So after were done, the friend we were helping suggested we go get dinner. Im under the assumption he is buying us food.

We get there, he orders his shit, and asks for separate checks lmao. Thankfully my other friend spoke up, and and he ended up buying us food.

But seriously spent 3 hours helping you, and you cant spend $40 on dinner. Damn bruh

When we adopted Oreo, there was another dog in there with her. Same face, darker body. They were found/surrendered together.

Fast forward two years(which is how long weve had her), and that dog is now re-surrendered to the same shelter.
