So Quack is hitting his 25th year as a pro wrestler so he is going to do 25 exhibition matches with chosen opponents to celebrate. Apparently many emails have been sent out and he has also put out for people to contact him if they want to take part. I expect Colt, Ophidian, ZSJ, Hallowicked, John Francis of Coronado, Arik Cannon and Orange Cassidy. Will be interesting to see who else ends up part of this.

I'd love to see some old regulars like Chuck Taylor, Jigsaw, Kingston, or Gran Akuma.

Structurally, nothing will change as long as the current teachers' unions and school administrators are in charge. To use Trump's words, they have experience, but it's bad experience.

You would be surprised how many major changes teachers and admins would make if they were allowed to. I have heard so many educators talk about how we need to change testing or get rid of summer vacation but administrators cant do it because the public gets upset if they change anything and the department of education is run by a lot of people who dont want change and to often aren't even educators.

They study all these learning methods and theories then get in the school and they cant use them because they have to follow state/federal curriculum.

Has anyone else noticed that younger people (like in college now) can't write? I've seen major papers, that had received many hours of work, from people getting good grades, that were far less coherent than the average post in this topic.

I had cousins from Texas who were completely unable to write in jr high and high school despite good grades. I was shocked to see how bad they were. That was 10-15 years ago.

So it's not so much new as happening in more areas. Heck at the Georgia college my wife works at the kids struggle to write 5 page papers. And seldom get assigned longer than that.

I mean those elite teachers aren't going to quit. They will work at the public schools.

And if the funding and donations that go to the charter schools go to public instead that will keep a lot of those programs going.

The auto tuning is worse than Emma Watson in BatB. And to be honest I have thought from the very beginning that Will Smith was probably the best reasonable choice as the Genie. Just let him give a natural mediocre singing performance and let his personality and energy compensate. Worked fine for The Rock in Moana.

Also worked well for Robin Williams in Aladdin

Let's not pretend that he was a great singer.

Oh yeah if you want distinct characters then CHIKARA is definitely the right place. Though again, you may want to skip some of the all roh matches as Punk apparently banned them from having personality when they are starting (literally requires them all to wear plain black gear).

I mean years and seasons are basically the same with one exception- Season 19.

Icarus is basically the love to hate heel of CHIKARA for most of its run. Then gets a good redemption arc where he wins over the fans. Then people get bored of him as a traditional hero face after a couple seasons so he goes heel again.

The long term storylines basically start with tag world 05. That is a good start I'd say. Pick up more in a couple years when Mantis starts doing stuff.

Wife and and I just skip matches with random roh or indy people we dont know or care about and that speeds things up as well. I can slow look and try and identify the important shows if you want. At least to where we are (season 5)

Otherwise if you really want to skip ahead my understanding is BDK build up starts in like season 6.

Where are you watching CHIKARA? I thought it was always divided by seasons. Anyway season one is only like 2 or 3 eps cause the rest is lost.

I would say it's better to watch the two TV series then read up about the difference between the recap movies and the TV series. There's really only one change that kinda big. The new movie takes place in the same timeline as the recap movies but even that one change doesn't matter too much so you can watch the new movie off of just the TV series.

What is the big difference between the original shows and the new continuity?

AGOT and ASOS relied heavily on coincidence and stuff happening off screen and yes, fast travel. in AFFC and ADWD martin expands the world, gets rid of fast travel, and insists on having POVs for everything that happens, even if it is off screen/the active agents are not POV characters

This is what I was trying to get at. He clearly fell in love with exploring the universe he created instead of the story he was writing. He obviously gave D&D the basic outline of his ending, he knows the gist of it, he just doesn't wanna write it. At least that is how it seems to me. Could be being too generous towards him I suppose.

He has flat out said he cant make the next book work based on problems he created in the previous books. He calls them knots and has said multiple times he cant untangle it.
