What state are you in that you get that much? It was like $17/day both times I got it for IL (in Chicago). My first time at least had a had a free parking garage, but my second time required me to pay $20 for parking each day...

Taker is a top 10 guy in WWE history. Hes like a Hank Aaron, who is seen as an all time great in baseball history, but only won 1 MVP over a very long career while being seen as one of the best every single year.

Id personally put him 5th. The only truly iconic faces that carried WWF/E since the wrestling boom in the 80s have been Hogan, Austin, Rock, and Cena. Thats my Rushmore. After that, its guys who were pushed to the top and were beloved performers, but not anyone who put the WWE on their shoulders.

I can't believe the votes for Flair. I'm assuming these are from the youngsters who only saw his 2nd stint in wwf when he was old and washed up. 2 time wwf champion and his feud with Savage was good stuff. I get the view of "it was disappointing" but the only reason that happened is because certain guys coughhogan refused to work with him. It could have been amazing.

Been watching since the late 80s. His first stint lasted 18 months. Just 3 months longer than Ronda Rouseys first stint, as a comparison. And Id say his only real shining moments were the 1992 Royal Rumble and the build to Wrestlemania VIII be Savage (he also had a solid retirement match vs Mr Perfect in the very early days of Raw, but its hardly remembered).

Like you said, his return was during his washed up years. His good 18 months followed by the 2nd stint (when he was just shy of turning 53 when he first returned) doesnt make him come close to being an all time WWE great. Pro wrestling great, absolutely. But for just WWE, Id put the likes of Backlund, Piper, Snuka, Savage, DiBiase, Jake, Perfect, Warrior, Kane, HHH, Jericho, Angle, Lesnar, Orton, Eddie, Batista, Punk, and Daniel Bryan all ahead of Flair.

Flair. He deserves a spot on the US wrestling Mt Rushmore, but not WWE.

My Rushmore would be Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena. Taker is next in line.

A few years ago, I introduced a bunch of cousins (aged 14-19) to the NES with Mike Tysons Punch-Out and Dr. Mario. Of all things, they were impressed by the reset button on the NES. How did you get right back to the start screen? Thats pretty cool.

Took me a sec to recognize that all modern consoles are basically computers that would take at least a minute to reboot and then relaunch a game.

That right there is the reason why PS2 will likely never be topped. The DVD was still a newer technology that a lot of people didnt own yet, so it allowed people/families to rationalize buying a new console since it was seen as getting a console and a DVD player for the price of one.

Back when I was younger, I loved FF4. And on my very first playthrough, I thought that the Tower of Zot had to be the final dungeon. It seemed like I was at the final boss lair and was making a final run to confront and defeat him. When it turned out that there was still plenty of game left to go, I was absolutely thrilled.

Anyone else have moments like that?

FF7 is my favorite, but Ive played FF1 the most by far. Such a fun game to just quickly playthrough, and have some replayability due to the different teams you can form.

Im the one vote for Mario.

If I can only play one IP for the rest of my life, Id want to have the most possible games to choose from, and games that offer some variety. Im assuming that the spin-offs from Mario wouldnt count (Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, etc), but if they do, all the better.

But all of the other IPs are a lot more limited. Even something like Zelda, for as great as it is, has similar games. The formula is usually fairly standard - great, but standard. There are at least some differences amongst the selection of Mario games, and there are more of them than any other Nintendo IP.

Thats my rationale, for what its worth.

Partisanship definitely casts a shadow over whether Trump will be removed. He will very likely be impeached, and his actions seem to be worthy of being removed from office. But the 2/3 vote will require an awful lot of Republicans to vote against Trump.

They are in step one of the entire process right now.

1. Congress investigates a government official. If they feel the official has violated a high law, then the House of Representatives votes for impeachment.
2. The House votes. It takes a simply majority to impeach the government official.
3. If the vote to impeach succeeds, then the Senate tries the government official. If it is the president who is impeached, the Supreme Justice is the Supreme Court acts as judge over the proceedings.
4. The Senate must then give a 2/3 majority vote to remove the government official from office. If it is the President, then the Vice President assumes the presidential role.
