At my previous company, if a holiday were coming up, you had to work the day before and after the holiday to get paid for it (the Friday before if the holiday were on Monday). Apparently, a lot of people used one vacation day either before or after the holiday to extend the break length, and someone higher up was annoyed with it.

It was not that bad! I think the only weird thing is the main character has no personality and you don't really know anything about her (even when she finally sings a song, it's not really about her). She pretty much goes from place to place and is sung to.

Also, there was only me and 7 other people in the movie theater, haha.

It was fine. I didn't know what it was about, but the premise is that once a year (I think) there is a talent show. Whoever wins gets reincarnated into the life they want. The main cat you follow around is Victoria, who was just abandoned.

Lots of cats singing about their life and what kind of life they want.

Taylor Swift plays Bombalurina and appears briefly, but her entrance was great. I'm not sure how to do spoiler tags with the new GameFAQs buttons, so that's all I'll say.

I'm at 340 Pokemon caught. Missing a whole lot of Shield Pokemon, a bunch of trade evolutions, a bunch of weird evolution/acquisition methods, and a few level up evolutions. Wish I had more time to play.

People were like this when YouTubers did sponsorships too or asked for likes or subscribing.

If it really comes down to it, Wikipedia will probably just do ads.

Maybe it can go the route of Facebook, collect user data, and make targeted ads.

I can come in whenever, but I have to do a full 8 hours. It's never been explicitly said, but I am pretty sure everyone should be in at prime work hours. Boss would probably be mad if someone came in at 5PM after most others have left.

I only get Christmas off. The office management is closed after until next year. Some people take the time off too (without pay) or use PTO. I can't afford that, so I'm gonna come in (it's usually chill though compared to regular work days).

I'm not really sure why office management being closed forces other people to take the time off. AFAIK, it just means custodial staff and admins aren't working.

I'm mostly catching Pokmon right now. Trying to get a living dex. Got a lot left to go, but not much time to play. I still need to get all the TMs, and I want to do the Curry dex. I also want to train some of the new Pokemon. Cinderace's movepool is so bad, but he's what I have trained so far.

I have a few boxes of Jolly Scorbubbies and Timid Sobbles to surprise trade away on Christmas. Hope the new players enjoy.

I think the one thing I want the most is faster animations. I like seeing them initially, but play with them off because it takes so long. It's like the one thing GF never improves.

No, it is not worse. I don't know your experience with EV training, but your lead Pokemon is never the one that wants EVs. It's just a higher level to train the rest. If you're EV training, you load the intended Pokemon to be trained with vitamins, attach exp share, use vs. seeker/sweet scent/whatever the game specific method is, then use a higher level lead Pokemon to wipe the enemy and repeat.

You don't carry around a newborn Pokemon you'd been breeding into random battles. If you're going to EV train, you EV train. The moment after you get the nature, ability, and IVs you want, you load him up on vitamins and go straight to training. Depending on the game, an hour at most to finish (ridiculously faster if you have power items or Pokerus).

And regardless of all that, EV training is much easier in SwoSh. You don't have to train it traditionally; you can just feed it all the vitamins you want to cap out stats (granted it costs a half million per Pokemon and can be hard to start up).

Yes, being unable to turn off Exp Share is annoying, but it is not detrimental to EV training at all.

Some people like to EV train their pokemon and having XP share on always prevents you from getting stronger pokemon.

If you have a pokemon that rarely battles and gets leveled mostly by XP share, it will be weaker than a pokemon who has killed say... a whole bunch of pokemon that yield Speed EVs. It will be much faster than the same pokemon who just sat on the bench.

You can still do this but you have to bank all your other pokemon. Or painstakingly farm feathers/vitamins.

It's not like it would be hard to have an option to turn off the XP share for competitive players.

What are you talking about? If it gains exp, it gets EVs. Exp Share has always been used for EV training.

AFAIK, you can't. There are a few places where you enter and it won't appear, but not many. It's dumb since that's the only UI on the screen (and it doesn't really DO anything). It's a total waste of space. It could have easily been put into the normal menu.

The Y-Comm? I hate it too. You use it to trade or battle with other people. You can do it locally or via Internet if you have a Switch online subscription.
