8 had 3 problems. Luke's death, Leia's space walk, and keeping the plan a secret. And it set up a vastly more interesting universe where the force wasnt limited to bloodlines, everyone had it and anyone could be a hero.

9 creates more contradictory logic. Rey heals kylo from the same wound qui gon dies from. She can't sense chewie for the cheap emotional yank only to later sense him on a giant ship. Like you mentioned with the sand. The emporer entire plan...he needs Rey to kill her with hate then lol jk I'll just force suck you both because you're a diade or w/e fucking word they made up. And kerri Russell and robot fixer up merchandise machine escaping the planet when it was destroyed after she gave up her way off the planet. and if you hated the casino scene because it was "pointless"...the entire mcguffin chase is pointless, but actual pointless instead of serving character growth it existed because hey people liked chasing mcmuffins in end game right?

And Bringing back the emporer, in the fucking title crawl, is more moronic than everything combined in 8.

Now I fully agree that disney deserves 100% blame. Rian and jj should never have shared the trilogy. If jj did all 3 the trilogy would ve better. While I would have preferred rian to do episode 9 to finish what he set up. Using Luke's sacrifice to be the beacon call for the rebellion instead of having lando magically gather the entire galaxy at one single time for the cheap pop rip off of on your left. Letting reys parents...and grandpa be nobodies. Letting ben be the villain without relying on the ot.

Episode 9 looked at end game and went people liked that let's just copy it by loading this with fan service without understanding why the fan service worked in endgame.

Revenge of the sith. Emo anakin can die in a fire. Phantom Menace has pod racing and the quality Darth maul fight. Attack of the clones has the attack of the clones. Revenge of the Sith has awful memes that makes people overrate it.

Solo is ignored like all the other spin offs since only rogue one is good.

RoS is bad and maybe after rewatch it I'll drop below the prequels, but ren is still good. Poe is okay. Everyone else gets.done dirty by jj

The last Jedi is by far the best individual movie of the trio, and simultaneously the worst movie of the trilogy since jj clearly disagreed with what the movie did. Though if jj was always going to have this ending the mistake wasnt letting rian do episode 8, it was not having him do 8 and 9. What rian was going for, the force is for everyone. Luke's sacrifice was the spark to ignite the rebellion to defeat the first order is a vastly better and more interesting universe than jjs only two families matter. And I can't stand on my own two feet, original trilogy redux.

Not to mention what jj did adds more questions and invalidates more than rian doing an awesome looking hyperspace sacrifice scene.

2. Adapt the Expanded Universe
3. Hire passionate cast and crew

1.) Because the prequels were so great
2.) The EU is 90% shit.

Black panther is the closest, because it's one of the few that has an actual message and doesn't treat it as a joke. Like gotg2 or endgame could have, but didn't want to risk offending anyone so turned the potential points into punch lines so everyone could like it.

We're likely to see another renaissance of unions in the next 5-10 years. Workers rights have grown to stagnant and as millennials age and cant neglect retirement any longer, will motivate them to make business front more of the retirement income like pensions of old.

The year started with me trying to find balance between finishing an awful project and looking for a new job because I could not stand, or trust, my then boss. The initial launch was expecting to be February, we ended up launching an incomplete product in late june. Then my boss "left" by August.

During the entirety of the project, I had told my then boss if I was going to stay beyond the completion of the project I wanted to switch from developer to management. Because this switch was a change from a c# project I knew to a Salesforce project I was learning and disliking every bit of. He assured me yes, yes, yes. But he also needed me or the projects would have been delayed at least another 3 months (to be in an equally as bad or worse position). So, with nothing signed and little reason to trust him I kept my options open.

After the disaster of a launch my boss "left", he was cto so people that high up never get fired, but everyone knows what happened. That boss during his year and half had fired or driven away everyone on my team but me. So, now we need someone to both lead the team...and hiring the team. So I went individually to the top 3 people in my company and told them I wanted the role. They had seen me recommend solutions that my now old boss would say no to. Seen that my ideas addressed the problems that we ended up having. So, they gave a new title on an interim basis and more or less said, ok fix it.

So I set about fixing the problems implementing the solutions I wanted to do originally. And over the last 3 months we went from disaster to stable. As a result my interim promotion is now official. And I'll have nearly doubled my salary to where I was last year.

My current boss is the CEO, we haven't hired a cto and aren't looking to hire one. As the role is effectively split between me and our it director. I'm also going to be getting a 10k bonus on Friday...though uncle sam is Gunna take so much of that.

Tl;dr went from worrying I'd be let go due to shitty boss to getting a significant raise and jumping forward a decade at least on my career path thanks to shitty boss incompetence.
