Basically, they are good for the short term, bad for the long term unless the tax rate was really high to begin with. Time will tell if the tax cuts were just meeting a new normal or if it is the typical "we gotta pay for those tax breaks at some point" kind of thing. I have to wonder if cutting taxes in the way that it occurred was a viable long term strategy to achieve their current state of the economy. It seems to me that we're going to be paying for our "4%" growth eventually via the national debt, but we've essentially passed to buck down the road. This is not unique to Trump. Numerous administration's have opted to make things better in the short term by worsening our long term debt. It abstracts the cost so it isn't feeling as keenly. . But hey, I'm no economist so if legitimate economists are of the opinion that things are good, then sure, they are good. --- |

Mother's Day today was challenging because my wife wishes that she were 5+ months along right now. I remain optimistic, but it still takes a toll the longer it takes. I really hope this month coming up with be the month. We can start trying again in a few days. Also our hedgehog is adorable and amazing. We picked her up from a breeder in Nevada on May the Fourth, so naturally a Star Wars related name was in order. Her name is Mayhew Organa in honor of Leia and Chewie, but we can also call her May for short. --- |

I hatched about 15 eggs firing the event and queued up another 9 at the 4x speed. It was nice! My luck for the Treecko themselves left something to be desired. I only ended up evolving 3 Sceptile: 69% shiny 91% lucky 96% I caught 7 shiny total and my best was a low 60s. Only got the 69 from a trade. It only cost 800 dust to trade the shiny. Did they dramatically change the formula for trade costs? I remember it being much more. My wife caught 11 shiny but hers were all garbage too. Grass types weren't weather boosted during the event at all so that definitely hurt our results. --- |

It has Aeiral Ace which is probably the easiest of the 3 charge moves, but still I was pleased! I'm convinced we could take down an Ancient Power Ray as well. Outrage is debatable. --- |

The bad news is that we aren't pregnant again yet. We're going to keep testing every couple weeks though and give it a few months before we start looking into whether or not we have any kind of fertility issues. It took 9 months of trying for the first one and we don't want to wait that long again. --- |

Ended up evolving 3. 96% lucky, 93% normal and 78% shiny. I'll continue trading leftovers that I haven't transferred yet and probably evolve 2 more to be pure ice attackers. --- |
