| slmcknett 05/17/19 1:23:52 AM #2 | It was a major disappointment. Followed this series for 13 years to see this saga concluded, and they gave us this half-assed ending. The gameplay was easy as hell on Proud, and the gameplay was...fun, but cluttered with too much going on. The story was awful and the world selection was too small and Disney was way too restrictive with what they allowed Square Enix to do with them. Gummi Ships were actually decent fun, though. This was basically just Banner using Hulk's body, but the Hulk himself never came out, so it's like he's been entirely subdued and "killed off" in exchange for Banner to be permanently in charge. The writers said that Ragnarok/IW/Endgame would show a Hulk arc, and...yeah? I guess it did. But I wasn't expecting this. I was expecting Hulk and Banner to reconcile or something and make it possible for them to switch back and forth whenever they wanted or something. But instead they basically just killed Hulk off and gave Banner all his strength...for no real reason since he doesn't actually fight. I feel like I would've liked Prof Hulk more if we actually got the Hulk himself at some point in the movie, but we didn't. And now he's likely never going to show up again since the Original Six are being "retired" in one way or another. SwayM posted...
