In fairness it's kind of a different approach to the problem; when you're six you don't rearrange the equation, you tend to just plug numbers into x until you find one that works.

He was actually figuring it out though. Which is what was so surprising to us. It's not like he was just taking guesses until it worked.

I'm not even sure if he likes it, he just seems really good at it, the fact that he was able to figure a lot of the equations we were throwing at him fairly easily definitely boosted his confidence though. Originally my wife was just doing simple additions and subtractions with him on the fridge using magnets. Then I came in with a question that involved both additon and subtraction. He was flabbergasted, saying shit like that doesn't work dad, you can't do that. It was humourous. As I was trying to convince him that I could show him how to do it, he said that he's going to tell mom on me, I said you go ask her if that is an equation that works. So he does she comes over and says yes that is a doable equation. So I work him through it and he nails it. Then I upped the ante after doing a few of those with introducing algebra the one I posted in this topic being the first question I gave him.

I'm having trouble deciding what to buy. I can get REmake 2, Nioh, and the Arkham collection or I could change out REmake for Spiderman. Or I could get Nioh and Arkham and wait on Spiderman because it goes on sale fairly often and maybe get something else when Spiderman is in sale. I might be able to switch out Arkham games for DS3 as well.

I think it's safe to say you wouldn't start at the beginning of your life since you don't start the whole game over.

Do you think that alchohol, tobacco, prescription meds, and with whatever states have legalized it, weed are just dumped in to the streets with no government regulations attached at all? Sometimes standing up for what's right has consequences, you're right, but I would rather lose a job and have my kids see that morality matters than be a coward and a hypocrite. Besides it's not like she lost a career over this, she was a waitress at a bar. When you actually get in to a career it's important to find a company whose values mirror your own.
