I stopped watching Jojo. No real reason, just stopped and haven't gotten back to it. Probably just wasn't in the mood for that type of show.

Still playing Granblue, but just barely. Not doing much more most days than logging in.

Now let's not talk shit about subverting expectations. Subverting expectations is cool. But Rian Johnson fucked it up and forgot to also add actual plot development to the subversion.

For instance, Avengers: Endgame was also a film that subverted expectations, maybe even moreso than The Last Jedi, but it actually works because unlike Johnson, the Russo brothers respected every other filmmaker's work in the franchise and had actual good development and conclusions in the film.

Um how did Avengers subvert expectations? Everything that everyone thought was going to happen did happen.

Umm..., no. Ant-Man didn't expand in Thanos's ass for the victory.

Went through the action anime on MAL. At this point it's like when you have nothing to eat in the fridge, but you keep finding yourself opening the fridge door and looking anyway every 5 minutes cause you're hungry and not thinking about it. What I wouldn't give for another samurai champloo. Preferably like 1k episodes long or so. Oh well, it was a good excuse to fill in my list a bit on the newer account (since I lost my original when the passwords got reset).

I'd end up quitting anime if I lost my mal account at this point. Too many things to remember. I'd be constantly looking at shows like "ooh, that looks neat" and then getting that funny feeling I'd seen it before while watching it.

Do you know what's on your old list, or are you just winging it?

Just been watching live action stuff. Watched s7&8 of GoT, watched s8 of Castle, and now I've started on Torchwood. Torchwood is like shittier Dr Who. Mainly waiting for the anime season to end. I did watch a couple anime movies recently though. The Cat Returns and Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo. Neither movie was amazing, but both were solid.

French's yellow, Dijon, all kinds, and honey mustard. There's a brand made here named Mississippi. It's pretty much the best. If you've had honey mustard with your smothered fries at Denny's, it's similar to that.

Try Ken's Steakhouse honey mustard.

I used a bucket trap one year and ended up killing 14 over three days I think. Might've been two days, but I can't remember. A 15th mouse was killed with a normal wooden trap. Worst parts were burying the bodies and the one mouse I drowned manually, since it was still alive when I went to dispose of them.

Looking for something that doesn't take too much to run, since this laptop is fairly weak, so that rules out Path of Exile. Also don't want any mmorpgs. It can have multiplayer interactions, but I don't want it to be focused on them. Don't want anything pay to win either. No clickers either. Used to play Shop Heroes, but it's pay to win and lacking updates. Mainly looking for something that's a decent time waster. I do play Granblue Fantasy, but haven't been in the mood to do much beyond logging in daily.

As for "real" games I've been playing GTA5 and still have stuff to do in MH:W as well.

So, anything you guys have played and would recommend, or heard good things about?

Ran out of anime again, since I finished up Tegami Bachi. Back to watching Castle, on s7 of it. GoT ends in a few days, so I can watch the last two seasons of that, but it's still a long ways off for this anime season to end. Started up GTA5. The dialogue in it is pretty damn funny.

Finished up the first season of Tegami Bachi. Nearly watched all of it in one day, which isn't something I've done for a while. It's not very much like Kino's Journey like I was hoping, though it's still decent. It's kind of slow, but nice to watch.

Played a bit more MH:W too. Took down a couple more hr Anjas. Still need two more monster hardbones so I can upgrade my hammer once more. I am considering trying out a different weapon though. I do like being able to stun monsters with hammer headshots, but not being able to cut tails sucks. Wish I could use a huge axe that plays similarly to the hammer. Was thinking of trying out the long sword.

Anyone wanna recommend a good vn that has ero scenes? It doesn't have to be focused on ero, but it's nice when they're there. Grisaia main series had a pretty good balance. I do have some vns on Steam, but I know not all of them have ero stuff.

I'm liking the game. In the beginning of high rank. I actually managed to take down hr anjantha. Was sure I was boned after I carted really fast the first time. Then I carted a second time, but figure, what the hell, may as well keep smacking him and hope for parts to drop. Ended up actually killing the thing and did most of the damage with my last life. Went and took down a hr barroth, which dropped a mat I needed to upgrade my hammer, so I took down a second one and upgraded my hammer. Stopped right after making the new hammer, so I haven't tried it out yet. Gonna go for a hr jyuratodus next and then probably back to anjantha, since I think it drops the bones I need for the next hammer upgrade.

My friend killed himself so many times doing this move directly into charging enemies. He just couldn't stop himself. It IS a lot of fun to use.

It's so nice when you smack them a few times and then end up on their back. Then you get to stab the crap out of them. I just picture a deranged midget with a pocket knife every time it happens.

Finished up Kobato. Was sappy, but not terrible to watch.

Been playing some more Monster Hunter World too. Killed my first rathalos and diablos. Diablos is a butthole and its moves have too damn much range. Thankfully, I've gotten a bit better with my hammer. Favorite move to use is the one that lets me go cartwheeling through the air swinging my hammer. Shame it requires me to be sliding to use, but it's great when I can use it. Think I'm about to go to a new area, so I'm wondering what scary butthole awaits me next.

Yeah SAO is definitely responsible for the explosion of isekai we've had in the years following the first SAO.

Same goes with fortnite, we will see battle royale's for years to come.

Too bad we can't have explosive popularity with the collectathon 3D platformer genre. I'd love to get me some more titles like banjo kazooie, Mario 64 Pat in time and ukulele.

I'd credit PUBG with causing the br boom. Also, I don't really consider SAO and settings like it to be strictly isekai. More of a sub genre and very closely related, but not exactly the same.
