I thought Return of the Jedi was awesome. Not as good as Empire and probably not as good as the original but still. Then again I did not mind the Ewoks. The only real problem I had with Return of the Jedi was its lack of ambition compared to its predecessors.

The Last Jedi, I didn't like it, but I still have a hard time fathoming how unbelievably venomous fan reactions towards it are. Wow.

This is exactly the fallacy SJW's hold on to. Anyone that disagrees with them on any level is considered a "bigot" that belongs on the far-right and must be viewed and treated with contempt by both the government and media.

In reality, SJW's are the secular left-wing equivalent of fundamentalist Christians that consider the likes of Harry Potter to be satanic. We have every right to call them out for their behavior, like getting offended at a song or candy canes.

I think Samus gets a lot of strength on this site due simply to being recognizable to the average voter. That might explain why she used to be so SFF-prone.

IIRC Vincent was getting pushed heavily by Square Enix in the mid-'00s, no? That could be why he was so strong back then.

Even as a huge fan of Samus it feels a little soul-crushing to see her, not exactly the top of the heap when it comes to Nintendo (though she's not far behind, but still), blow out the strongest non-Square/Nintendo rep.

Oh my god, I just realized that ZELDA can now beat any character not from Nintendo or Square (and for all we know she could take Cloud). Wow. I guess that's what happens when other companies embarrass themselves on a regular basis.
