When I learnt about his death early this morning, I feel very sad, retired Vietnamese Col. Tran Trong Duyet was quoted as saying Sunday by Vietnam News.

During the Vietnam War, Duyet ran the Hoa Lo Prison, dubbed the Hanoi Hilton" by American POWs. McCain, a Navy pilot, spent 5 years in the prison after being shot down over Hanoi on a bombing mission in 1967.

The future senator would spend nearly half of those years in solitary confinement; the beatings he endured in the prison left him with physical problems that stayed with him for the rest of his life.

Nikki appeared to show NO REMORSE after accepting the plea deal to reduce her charges and sentence to only 1 year in the slammer.

And she probably won't even serve the whole thing, although having her serve any time is a minor victory given how slanted the justice system is in favor of women.

She should have got as much as her "rapist" would have.
False reporting should come with the same sentence as the crime you're accusing someone of, it's just that simple.

I agree that the Democrats are the center right party and Republicans have gone off the deep end on the far right.
And you may be right on most of those things you said McCain supports.
But he definitely didn't endorse torture. He even just recently opposed Gina Haspel's confirmation due to her role in running a torture site and then destroying the evidence about it, bucking his party.

Just because Donald Trump's an asshole, that doesn't exclude McCain from also being one. And dying doesn't absolve you from the things that you have done to ruin other people's lives.

McCain helped get us involved in Iraq. He endorses torture, the patriot act, ndaa, drone strikes, and selling arms to militants. And outside of that he regularly made racist remarks, such as when he compared Iranians to monkeys.

I think that the reason that the left seems so insistent upon honoring McCain is because the goalposts have shifted. What used to be the left have gone to the right, and the right have shifted to an even further extreme. Not one of those issues that I mentioned was Hillary Clinton not supportive of, and frankly she's made her own fair share of bigoted statements (hot sauce comments, prior anti gay marriage stance, etc).

Yeah, whoever says that is bs'ing, I've played both and its story is nothing like FF7's.

They were pointing out to things like the character death and the casino as similarities -- and then noting how FF7 did them better -- which was kinda reaching. Can't remember the rest of the argument, but it wasn't anything compelling.

Fun fact: It's a lot easier to do with Lavitz than with Albert. It's generally slower and the window to input the command was much wider than Albert. Applies to all their shared moves really.
Yes. I once did take the time to learn all of Lavitz's moves before leaving Hellena Prison lol.

The graphics were great for the time, the battle system was pretty neat, and... well, that's pretty much it. I recall the story being unremarkable and, at the time, people were claiming it ripped off FF7 (which I never really bought, but whatever).

You tip for service when sitting down and being served, or when getting delivery. You don't tip for pick up, all that person does is take your money and hand you the bag with your food in it.

If not, please explain why you tip the To Go person, but not the McDonald's cashier, and how their jobs are so fundamentally different.

One is fast food and one is a restaurant. At the fast food place, the cashier has the opportunity to make more than minimum wage. In a restaurant, your Togo person is trying to work their way up to being a server, and they are making minimum wage (or in a lot of states less than minimum wage)

If only this had happened in Texas. Everyone there is armed. The armed and protective citizens of Texas certainly would've stopped that dude before he could have harmed anyone.

Whatever state this shooter is from, I can guarantee you they need more guns there. Only way to prevent all these shootings is to arm everyone to the teeth. Level the playing field. Certainly don't need any laws restricting gun ownership. Fuck that noise. Arm everyone.

Yeah, certainly there would be no misuse of guns in a state like Texas. Certainly not a psycho man shooting women while driving. That would never happen because of all the guns keeping everyone safe.
