I don't think I'm liking Bravely Second as much. Idk, maybe it picks up once I get more Jobs. The writing actually got worse, imo. Every character has some weird quirk(s) that were kind of there in the first game, but weren't nearly as annoying.

So apparently Goldman Sachs put out a report stating Blizzard is announcing Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 at Blizzcon this year. I'm guessing it's not actually Overwatch 2, I'm guessing it's probably a new character announcement. But, since the seasonal events recently have been lackluster, and there's been a lot of kit reworks, it's *possible* an expansion pack is in the works. Whatever the hell that would look like.

Yeah most of the repetitions felt completely pointless. Like 80% of the second half of the game is completely optional fluff.

I still enjoyed it well enough, mostly because the battle system was pretty fun.

Anyway, beat the first game, played Second for about an hour so far.

Been through the final pillar of light and fought Airy. Yes, this game has serious narrative issues. Multiple characters knew about Airy, and only 1 explained it, and very very poorly at that. At no point did anyone really warn you and say "airy is satan's foot soldier, ignore what she says"

Conspiracy theorists like to say stuff like we stopped going to the moon because "video quality improved" but honestly if you really think about it, it would be easier to fake a moon landing now with modern CGI than it would have been in the 60s. The whole conspiracy theory makes no sense at all.

Not only that, but an operation like that would require thousands of people to keep a secret. Impossible, somebody would have blown the whistle pretty much immediately.

Got it way back when it came out, didn't play it very much and kinda forgot about it. Recently picked it back up, and I'm really enjoying it. Currently about halfway through Chapter 6 and it feels like I'm nearing the end. Airy is being very suspicious and I don't like her. I also have Bravely Second sitting here, and I'm actually pretty excited to get to it.
