yea that is the thing. I wonder if the daughter changed her mind when she was being killed. and now she might be mad at her mom for betraying her. I mean I don't know if everyone read the whole article but it says that basically she was trying to help black people and then when with some black friends, these guys killed her in a horrific way, even though her friends tried to vouch for her. it's possible in her final moments she hated her killers.

It's fucking stupid to claim that "it's just journalism as usual" knowing fully well that the judge in this trial already received death threats himself. What they were doing in this case is exactly the same as doxxing because it isn't a normal trial and there are other factors to consider like the safety of the jury members.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm still OK with it. I got a gift of a year membership last December (around $90), and have seen 9 movies over the past 6 months in which I activated it. I know that's not a lot, but matinees are ~12 in Atlanta, so I've more than broke even. None of the blockbusters I wanted to see have been surge priced or blocked, and I've seen a few I only noticed because they were listed (Annihilation and Upgrade). We'll see what happens when my sub ends in January, but if I get another 90/year deal I might reup.

They said the current subscriptions were protected from surge pricing that's why you haven't noticed it because they could be sued after you paid for a year. Once it renews your sub will follow the new rules

I think the primary winner showed a bad side of himself and made some stupid comments on that radio show. I don't know much else about him other than that. But he might be perfectly normal and have normal opinions when it comes to local economics and infrastructure and all that, which could be a key reason people voted for him. I don't know.
