In all seriousness, Shreveport is a hole. Doesnt have the culture of South Louisiana by a longshot, it's basically Arkansas. The weather is probably better than Buffalo though. It's in North Louisiana and only a couple of hours away from Dallas. It doesnt get quite as hot as Louisiana has the rep for because its further from the gulf and has a higher altitude than south Louisiana (it's actually quite hilly up there). It gets colder up there in the winter than the southern part of the state and snows more often though still nowhere near as frequent as Buffalo. --- |
