It was completely linear, like no real side quests or different branches to go on and a lot of things were super obvious. I think what it is is when you play the PS1 versions there were a bunch of flaws that you just kinda come to appreciate. Like how crash moves and sometimes bounces after landing with his spin and wonky hitboxes qnd stuff like that. Theres a certain charm to it and it's removed when it gets polished. But if the remasters were the original version and they came out with the PS1 versions as the ones released later then youd be saying the remasters were better --- |
