Disappointing realization:

Hats that turn a character into a replica of the original hat bearer are nothing new, Super Mario 64 had them too. Also based on the fact only Toadette can turn into peach, hats might be gender locked.

But I don't want to ruin Bowsette so everyone start combing mario lore for things that hint at bowser being female.

gosh why are these games so close to being great with some major UI flaw hindering each one.

Meeting a new character should give you a little pop up, just like character affinity, not pull you to a separate screen to watch the character get added.

on the other side of the coin, character affinity SHOULD pull you to the screen, since you need to watch the boxes get unticked in order to unlock later ones, which means if you miss the notification after a battle, you have to cycle through all your blades before you see which is the right one.

The reason drinking full sugar pop is "better" for you than HFCS or Diet is because pure sugar will let you actually feel sugar's effects. Fructose can go straight to your liver without raising your glucagon levels too high, so it's easy to drink a few of them in a day. Drink two "real sugar" pops in a day and you'll feel like shit (chances are you'll feel like shit after just one if your diet is healthy enough)

Today's diet was pretty lame, mushrooms and eggs basically.

Here's a fun little story about my antibiotics though

I noticed I had some symptoms that were "hey contact you doctor"

So I call him up and I'm like "hey I've got these symptoms but they're very minor." expecting a "get back to work pussy" that I sometimes get from doctors.

instead I get "eh I would just stop taking the antibiotic"

when I asked "isn't stopping an antibiotic half cycle really bad for you"

he says "Yeah."

I don't want to type out the entire conversation, but the whole thing was a circular conversation with absolutely no clear answers or solutions. I told him I was going to keep taking the antibiotics and stop if it got worse and he said "ok"

While describing my symptoms on the phone the school nurse looks in and gives me a somewhat horrified look. I walk out and ask her "what do you think ruth am I going to die? haha" and she pretends she doesn't hear me and runs out of the room.

I don't necessarily think hate for the medical industry is justified but GOLLY I certainly understand frustrations

Alright so I went to the pulp specialist. I'm happy to report the tooth in question has not reached the point of needing a root canal!

it's the tooth behind it that needed it : (

Well that still gives me at least another two weeks (until I get to see the regular dentist post root canal) to fix up this second cavity!

Monday:

I spoiled myself with a little sugar today, had carrots and a tablespoon of potato! Kale soup and boiled eggs and salad. I also bought a bag of turkey cold cuts because I was still hungry.

No more raw garlic because I'm on big boy antibiotics now (I was starting to get sick of it.)

Nothing I eat can "heal" a cavity, teeth are just bones like anything else in the body, they need time to heal themselves. (look up the research done by Dr. Weston Price)T he reason they typically don't is because our typical diet have us consuming a lot of fuel for bacteria that spews acid that breaks down teeth faster than the bones can heal. Expecting to heal a cavity in 4 days is a pretty darn tall order, but my hope is that I can heal it enough that I can avoid the root canal.

By eating almost exclusively protein and low sugar greens I can keep my mouth health, and my hope is the garlic can keep whatever infection I have at bay before I can get some legit antibiotics from a pulp specialist.

Made a chicken and onion dinner by braising both until they were super soft. Licorice tea and black tea. Had a few slices of cheese before bed. Also had some pickled garlic at work, which could have been bad because pickled things usually have sugar

My tooth still feels weird in my mouth. Not as sticky. soreness turned into a sort of numbness/soreness combination.

In case people want to see my craziness first hand, this is one of those "experiment using (what some people consider folk medicine or just lunacy but I would consider fairly fact driven science)"

I've had a probably with my back molars for some time now, and I've been kind half in half in taking care of it. Wednesday night I had the worst pain in my life, it took up the entirety of my face. I recognized it as an infection, probably stemming from a cavity I've been trying to heal for the past few months. After a lot of garlic, tea, and vodka, I was able to eventually get some sleep.

I went to the dentist, I know when my crazy methods have failed.

He said I had cavities, but they're just barely not bad enough to infect and kill my root canal.

He said I'd have to go to a pulp specialist on monday.

So between my inevitable root canal date, and now, my goal is to completely heal this cavity to the point of "not needing a root canal, and only needing a small filling"

I'll be documenting my diet, which has been carefully selected so that both the infection and cavities can be healed in a short time. If my cavities can heal within a two week period, and root canal can be avoided, then you guys can finally admit I know what I'm talking about!

If my condition gets worse, then you can all safely ignore my zany health advice for the rest of enternity!
