I focus on just getting my ideas down in some form, whether my laptop's word processor or the notepad I keep with me when I'm out doing stuff. Nice - I found that if I don't set the goal, it gives me an excuse to be lazy. Like, I would do 2000 one day, then the next I could easily rationalize "oh yesterday counted for today as well" when the point isn't to get a set amount of words on average, but to get practice in each day. I think I'm just a lazy person sometimes that has figured out how to rid himself of excuses to be a sloth |
