I greatly disagree. Jeff Bezos created Amazon, that's his. He makes money off his work and his idea.
Musicians have people write write their music, edit their voice, put it together, make the beats and the background, then there's the recording studio, the people who make their album art etc.

It's weird to frame it in a way that somehow Lil yachty is somehow more deserving of his money than Bezos or Cuckerberg. Keep in mind Cuckerberg actually built the original facebook website.

Many people in Hollywood only have careers because they have connections.

Just because your daddy is rich, doesn't mean your business will be successful. You can't say the same about the entertainment industry.

Reconsider this:
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/17/magazine/george-soros-democrat-open-society.html
Asked if he would support Bernie Sanders if the Vermont senator won the Democratic nomination in 2020, Soros said it was too soon to say. He expressed displeasure with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, another possible candidate, over her role in ousting Al Franken from Congress: She was using #MeToo to promote herself. He said his main goal as a political activist was to see a return to bipartisanship, a surprising claim in light of his lavish support for the Democrats. It was the extremism of the Republican Party that had prompted him to become a major Democratic donor, he said; he wanted the Republican Party to reform itself into a more moderate party. He said he was not especially partisan himself: I dont particularly want to be a Democrat. He spoke of his respect for John McCain. He even said he would be inclined to give financial support to moderate Republicans like Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, although he quickly walked back that comment: I shouldnt say that. That would hurt them. And while the Republicans had made bipartisanship impossible, he didnt want to see the Democrats become more ideologically rigid and confrontational.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/08/the-politics-of-new-i-washington-post-i-owner-jeff-bezos/278385/
Bezos has also given to several candidates for office, predominantly Democrats. Democratic Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell of Washington have been the biggest recipients of his donations. He's also given to Senator Pat Leahy, a Vermont Democrat; Rep. John Conyers, a Michigan Democrat; Republican Spencer Abraham of Michigan; and Republican Slade Gorton, a former senator from Washington. He also given regularly to a PAC run by Amazon, which has roughly split its contributions between the two parties over the last 10 years.
...
Matt Welch adds that Bezos has contributed to the non-profit that publishes the libertarian magazine Reason.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/elon-musk-donations-republicans_us_5b4e4bd8e4b0b15aba897481
illionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, a man widely hailed as a world leader in the fight to combat climate change, has doled out nearly 7 times as much cash to Republican campaigns and political committees this election cycle as he has to Democratic ones.

Since the start of 2017, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has personally contributed $88,900 to Republicans, while he gave those on the other side of the aisle $13,300, according to a HuffPost review of Federal Election Commission data.

Tim Cook

https://www.cnbc.com/2016/08/24/apples-tim-cook-has-spread-his-political-money-to-both-sides-of-the-aisle.html
Cook has personally given $10,800 to Republican candidates and joint fundraising committees and $10,400 to committees on the Democratic side since 2008, according to reports filed to the Federal Election Commission. While he is by no means a large donor, Cook has increased his activity in this election cycle, with about 90 percent of those donations coming since April 2015.

Cook hosted a fundraiser for Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan earlier this year, giving $7,100 to his campaign and a joint committee with the GOP in June. Last year, he gave maximum $2,700 donations to the campaigns of GOP Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio and Democratic Sens. Chuck Schumer of New York and Patrick Leahy of Vermont.

Marx and Engels both came from wealthier families, as do a lot of the whiny college SJWs. All the same, if you did a raw headcount, I think money tends to equal right wing in most places... but then again, look at Trump's supporters. To answer the topic question: it's probably a surprisingly close mix of both.

There's a reason why some of them skew left. They want people to buy/use their products. Katy Perry could very well be a secret right-winger, but that's bad for business. Being left publicly means she'll get millions of teens to buy her music.

Zuckerberg, while being publicly left wing, is probably a right winger. Look at his Hawaii land situation, not to mention him building a big wall around his Hawaii property.

It's no secret that most teenagers are liberals. Hollywood need that demographic to keep spending money, so they can keep making big profits. I think there are many people in Hollywood that are conservative, but most of them will keep their head low and not say anything, or pretend to be liberal.

Now that international revenue is such a big part of every movie release, if you don't publicly support "open borders", you're shooting yourself in the foot.

If you worked hard for your money and then a loon like Sanders comes along and said he wants to tax you 50%, you're not going to lean left.
