Only when we get to the second act when we realize that running into things is also how you kill them. Hydlide MC is probably a lot closer to Brie Bella than one would expect, frequently botching its offense and causing damage to themselves or unexpected extra damage to others.

I'm the rare person who has beaten Hydlide though so there is a sort of method to the madness. Still a 1/10 game though. Brie as the MC can't save it.

The skill gap between Nikki and Brie is much larger than the skill gap between Kelly and Rosa.

That way of thinking is like me thinking Dragon Warrior is a 4/10 game, thinking Hydlide is a 1/10 game, and not being willing to discuss either one and trying to argue they're equally bad, and saying the stupid ass 70 character password system in Hydlide just shows how bad Dragon Warrior is, even though Dragon Warrior has a save game file and doesn't use passwords.

Kelly and Rosa are Hydlides. Being honest I'd probably say Brie is a bit better than a Hydlide but not enough that I care enough to split hairs on it. She's definitely not a Dragon Warrior.

Nikki is at worst a Dragon Warrior and probably slightly better than even that.

So if you end up getting like, subseries of bigger parts will you rewrite their whole arc or does it become too dicey with the crossovers.

Like we have all three Thor movies do we get to rewrite the entire Thor trilogy as a whole, or do we need all the avengers movies as well to rewrite the Thor series since he's heavily in there, or are we not even considering touching Thor unless we get the whole MCU because he ripples too much into Avengers which in turn goes into the other movies.

Like I mean, truth be told here, if AJ Lee won that APWT best women's wrestler poll in 2014 or whatever instead of Nikki Bella, I might be similarly irrational and cheering if I dunno more people started saying AJ Lee was a bad wrestler because CM Punk sucks at UFC. Because I think AJ Lee is super bad. Way worse than pretty much everyone does.

Though enough people tend to agree with me on my fundamental issues with her that I'm able to not end up being some nut about it. Probably because Nikki Bella is actually objectively better as a wrestler than AJ Lee but you know let's not go there cause that's not the point.

The crux of the matter is that you're saying something dumb and can't accept that maybe everyone thinking you're dumb on this matter, including people who agree that Nikki sucks, is an indictment of the merit of what you're saying. Just get over it, accept you're not being some sorta perfect analytical being when it comes to certain things and that it's not a matter of us not understanding what you're saying, and move on.

We understand what you're saying. We have mocked it accordingly. This isn't a matter of miscommunication here. Other people having the same reaction you do doesn't mean you're being rational-- it means people are irrational about a ton of things and it's going to vary from person to person, and if you're talking about something that's popular enough you'll always be able to find someone as silly as you are.

Yeah honestly I defend the audience a ton in general-- like if there's something fundamentally wrong with a match that I can see, I'll support them in crapping on it, but that Rumble wasn't even that bad. The one where Roman won the next year as Big Show and Kane methodically eliminated all the threats so Roman could make his comeback vs LET'S HAVE HIM BEAT TWO MONSTERS GOD DAMMIT was much worse.

Especially since the WWE audience friggin loved Rock beating Punk the year before which was a way worse booking decision in terms of putting over the part timer.

Provides a good incentive to not have everyone just nominate garbage too. Generally the series with multiple entries at least had some redeeming value somewhere in there.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I'd like to see all the DCEU movies done one by one, then finish off with a big write-up in how you'd fix the whole thing with interwoven changes. That would be very fun. I just was hoping to avoid "well I didn't want Superman dead here so we start Justice League with Superman doing XXX" or whatever being the standard cause it does make things too easy in some instances.

Would you consider maybe doing both as a synergy bonus in those instances? I would kinda be interested in both takes. There is some charm to being forced to use building blocks you didn't want to use for a bad movie in the middle of a set, but on the other hand I like the idea of being able to overhaul the whole kit-n-kaboodle too.

The difference between what you're talking about and the Spyro thing is Activision had actually botched moves and injured people so it's not something that requires a leap. Activision is Sasha Banks here, not Nikki Bella.

It would be more like if we had that Spyro trilogy discussion, then people started railing on, I dunno, Godzilla 2 for the NES because it features a dragon like Spyro does. Sure Godzilla 2 for the NES does kinda suck but it's a dumb and irrational way to evolve a conversation from the initial point.
