The stating ending years can vary a bit depending on where you look.

Its typically every 20 years to become the thing the previous generation hates. The generation only really starts to suck to the previous generations when they get into their late teens.

I got my math wrong when originally posting that. Still, 20 years might be too broad. I mean millennials born in the 80's-early 90's experienced life quite differently (at least at first) than ones born later. Like us who remember a time before the internet was ubiquitous and totally ingrained in society or us who remember a time before 9/11 and people who don't remember it at all. I feel some gens can be broken down more due to context and events in the world at the time.

Is there any info about if these are going to be replayable? I know they came back around in the first game, but it was still a one and done thing and the one involving Gary Busey never came back up.

Those should always be repayable. Have the rules be the same as usual, but after completion/failure you should be able to replay them without it effecting your rank/score or whatever.

I just can't get the game til next payday!

I'm 28 and started watching the series not too long ago. It definitely holds up for the most part. The only thing that doesn't really is Jerry's stand up bits, at least to me.

Wait, teens and college kids ain't millennials. Is millennials just a general term for young people now? The term was already too broad anyway. I don't feel much if any connection to people around 10 years younger than me, yet we are grouped together.

I just thought of something. Most if not all the themes they tried to do with Bond in the Craig have been done and done better in previous movies. They brought up Bond being a "relic of the Cold War" and his other faults in Goldeneye and the close relationship between Judi Dench's M and Bond grew over the Brosnan films.

People talk about how the Bond films don't really link to one another, but there was an arc there in those movies. Bond at first thinks M may not be competent as her predecessors as she is a woman, but soon gains respect for her when she tells him she is quite capable and has no problems sending a man to die on a mission. Their relationship grows and we can see that in The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

They really don't know what they want to do with the series at this point. Like what has been said, they wanted to do a reboot with an early years version of Bond, then shortly make him the grizzled veteran again. Even though I liked Casino Royale and Skyfall as movies, I never liked the idea of rebooting the series as it's one that never really needs one. They should close this chapter and go back to the loose continuity of the old ones.

They tried a bit going back to the old formula in Spectre, but it was still mostly bland in the way it was presented that it's not memorable. I'd say they also went into a territory that even Roger Moore's Bond wouldn't go in with that dumb twist in that movie, which pretty much ruined the whole Craig Bond series to me.

Rian Johnson pretty much admitted he likes trolling half of the audience with his movies. That's douchey to me.

People rag on people who didn't like the movie and say that they're why SW fans are one of the worst fandoms out there, but I see more jerkish behavior from the fans who like it (and usually every other SW thing) than from "haters". Not saying everyone who liked it is like that nor that there aren't jerks on the hate side, but I just hate how people who don't like it are made out to be just OT fanboys who hate everything new and won't be satisfied by anything.

Give John a totally clean shave and you can tell that Jack is his. They look so alike. Jack's facial hair style could be a sort of tribute to Dutch.

Alot of people are saying he's really Arthur's son too, but I don't buy that either.

The Children of Hurin is good. Like as been said it expands on the chapter in The Silmarillion. If you're a big fan then you probably would like it. Christopher Lee did an audiobook of it too, if that interests you.

The only other one I got is Beren and Luthien, but so far from what I've read it's just early/alternate versions of the story which can be interesting if you're real big into Tolkien stuff.

And during the restaurant scene with Michael, Sollozzo,and Captain McClusky, Mike has to take a shit after retrieving the hidden gun. I guess due to nerves.

The book has some kinda out there stuff in it, but it's still a good read. You also get some backstory of the early Corleone years that part II didn't cover and we find out why Luca Brasi is so important and how deadly and sadistic he really was.

Sonny was too hot headed. If Vito died and he took control he would have kept fighting all of the other 4 families and the Corleones would have eventually been wiped out. With all the violence going on the family would have lost a lot if not all of the political protection/contacts/influence which was integral to the Corleone empire. And ultimately, the families being constantly at war interferes with business. Even Vito himself says to Tom Hagan: "Tom, I advised Michael. I never thought you were a bad consigliere. I thought Santino was a bad Don, rest in peace." It was also Sonny's big mouth that got the Corleones in that war in the first place.

He was a ferocious fighter and leader during war time, but not as a Don. With a cooler head strategizing and planning, he was perfect. If he had lived, with Michael as the Don the Corleone family would be unstoppable.

The book explains it more. If you like the movie it's worth checking out. There's a couple parts that you can skip though.

Mario Puzo died. The plan was to show the rise and fall of the Corleone Family. Vincent was supposed to get the family into the drug racket and in the end was going to die in a shootout with the cops sort of like Pablo Escobar if I remember correctly. I want to say Coppola explained it in the commentary track of Part III.

Kind of a shame, cause it may could have redeemed the series from 3, which had some good ideas, but overall bad execution.

I having a hard time believing you haven't seen any criticism of it ever. "Just the Republicans being typical buddy-buddies with Wall Street again." It's right too, but many on the left absolve establishment type Democrats for doing the same. These paid speeches are a red flag regardless of party. I'm not some jerk going "same thing both sides", but certain liberals should not tolerate that kind of corruption in their party either.
