I was watching a bunch of sketches the other day funny enough.

Modern day SNL (well the past 10 years or so) has a very few really funny sketches with mostly mediocre to outright funny ones. I feel a lot of their sketches have plthe potential to be great, but they take it in another way or drag them out way too long.

Keenan Thompson deserves better than this show. He's pretty much the one who's the most funny.

As much as I love them, that's most Rockstar games nowadays. I still loved the story and all that though. The only reward you get at the end of their games is money that you don't really need at that point.

What you said is why I put TTT last.

There's so much unnecessary scenes in it that weren't even the books. I think they should have taken all those scenes out (Aragorn being separated from the group, Elves in Helm's Deep, Frodo in Osgiliath) then had Frodo and Sam get all the way to Cirith Ungol and the movie end with Frodo being captured like the book.

At least if it wouldn't make the movie overly long.

Dogs are sentient. They can experience pain, fear, suffering, etc. They can also experience pleasure (I dont mean it in a sexual way duh) and happiness.

You dont acquire a living, breathing being who can experience all that and then treat it like a fucking toy.

They are pretty much babies, they are sentient, alive and fully dependent on you.

I'm not against pets. I've had and loved dogs and cats all my life and they are or were like family to me. I just hate that term so much for some reason.

The worst ones were the ones who'd punish the whole class for the infractions of one student. They think it will stop bad behavior by turning the class against the bad student, but kids are going to forget about it by the time they leave the classroom so it doesn't work. It's just being a dick.

It's probably the only horror movie I love. I might like a few horror films (mostly old ones), but The Shining is something else.

While I never read the book, I sympathize with those who have and dislike the movie because of changes. I've been there many of times.

Not that I'm defending Doug or all the BS his cohorts did, but the "change the channel" was the right thing to do, but for the wrong reasons. Many of the same people who participated in that defended or downplayed a lot of the complaints in that document when they happened. That site was like a cult in certain aspects. Criticism of any kind was censored. The content creators were fiercely loyal to the brand and would defend it to the death and mock anyone who brought up legit issues.

It's only now when their views are going down that this happened and this was mostly for attention. If only they exposed him earlier maybe he actually would have suffered in some regard, but they waited too late. Most of his fans now are kids who weren't even around when TGWTG/CA existed in its previous form. They don't know or care any about it and Doug didn't really lose much fans.

For Black Sabbath, Never Say Die would actually be a pretty good title with all the trials and tribulations that went on, plus Tony Iommi keeping the band alive post Ozzy and Dio. Too bad the album is considered one of their worst. It really isn't though. So I guess just go with their self titled first album.

They really do need to make a BS or Ozzy movie though. Especially an Ozzy one.

Back when yeah. I started to tune out after a couple of years. The memes, cameos, guest "stars", and over done and over long jokes started to where thin pretty quick. The he and many of the other guys on that site got a little too self indulgent. Those anniversary movies were god awful and unfunny.

Funny enough, I saw his Jack and Jill review in my Youtube suggestions last night and said "what the hell" and watched it. It's nowhere near his classic stuff, but it wasn't terrible and unwatchable as his stuff got at one time. While it wasn't that funny overall, there were some funny parts and I thought it was fine. The overused jokes were gone and the skits were very short.

The era of kayfabe is over, but Wrestlers could have kayfabe to some extent. I mean, during a long bloody fued or match it's kinda lame when they tweet or podcast and say how much they love working together or when they apologize when someone gets hurt in a match on Twitter.

Funny wrestling can work too, but it's just that now most go too far with it and it comes off as very silly. Dick flips, thumbs up butts, invisible grenades, hypnotizing,and other stuff like that make wrestling look stupid.

Agreed. People shit on him and call him an old man who yells at clouds, but he's right 99% of the time.

Even if everyone knows it's fake, if its done right it can work. Wrestling used to be a simulated athletic contest between wrestlers who had over the top personalities that you could take somewhat seriously. Now it's treated as just a show by both the promoters and what fans are left.

WWE is just so corporate and sanitized that it's not enjoyable and too many Indy promotions are just straight up silly. Everyone is too busy trying to take the piss out of wrestling now that nobody besides the people who enjoy that want to watch it. Wrestling is just going to become more and more of a niche product.

It's too much about doing crazy flips or doing silly "comedy" now.

Temple of Doom is the best one. Willie and Short Round never bothered me much and I like the darker tone. I actually find Willie kinda adorable and like how she's a big contrast to Marion. I still love how it starts with a corny song and dance number, but then leads to people dying in horrible ways. "Anything Goes" indeed.
