Revolver was clunky in a few spots, but it's still great. Don't know why it's getting hated on.

I actually wish a new RDR game would take some elements from it like how it's more based off of spaghetti westerns instead of the modern depressing westerns that are deconstructions of the genre. A new game set in the prime of the old west with a more over the top feel would be fun.

Also, there were already cries of racism back when the movies came out. They weren't huge in scale compared to today but I recall people saying the "whiteness" of the characters was overbearing and the villains all being dark skinned or represented by blackness was racist.

People made Tolkien out to be a racist on the level of HP Lovecraft. Even in the books it's said that the peoples of Harad and Khan may not truly be evil, but tricked or forced into Sauron's service. Also, Tolkien's works have plenty of cases were the "good and pure" "white" guys do evil and also align with Sauron and/or Melkor.

Let's be for real here and I'm left/liberal as all hell, but we all know we'd be getting "Where are the minority elves/hobbits/men/dwarves?" and "Why are all the good guys white and the bad men are black?" It happened back then too, but on a much less wider scale as it would be today.

I'm glad they were made back then because back then studios gave directors more freedom. If made today the LOTR films would be more like The Hobbit films.

I'll take Oblivion and its flaws over shallow Skyrim and I say that as someone who likes Skyrim too, but in comparison to Oblivion it's bland. I just prefer the setting, quests, story, vibe, and atmosphere of Oblivion. I felt Oblivion was easier to immerse oneself in too.

It's the same I feel about Fallout 4. I like it a lot and play it a lot, but New Vegas was leagues better and felt less shallow and streamlined.

That's a little over the top for me, but if one is still watching WWE what do they expect? And I still believe if some indy guy did that the same fans would be creaming their pants over it instead of complaining. Hell, they'd do it even if it was some shrimpy vanilla midget lifting that. At least a huge guy like Braun doing that is less of a stretch.

This may not be the best summary as I'm only going on memory. Spoilers obviously.

John Marston is forced by the government to hunt down his former associates of the Van Der Linde gang, Bill Williamson, Javier Escuela, and the former leader himself Dutch. He attempts to capture Bill Williamson at his hideout in Fort Mercer first, but is shot and wounded and left for dead. He is found by rancher Bonnie McFarlane and nursed back to health. After helping out around the ranch, he eventually travels to Armadillo and helps the local Marshal, Leigh Johnson, there. He also runs into and helps the drunk arms dealer named Irish, and a snake oil salesman named Nigel West Dickens. Eventually with the above's help, Marston leads an assault on Fort Mercer, but Bill Williamson escapes and flees to Mexico to meet up with Javier.

They still do this. They have big strong guys literally pushing or pulling semi trucks as a wild exaggeration of strength. The problem is the fans take this as the WWE trying to insult their intelligence instead of a entertaining spectacle.

I'd have to see some examples as I haven't watched WWE on the regular in years, but to be fair WWE can go a little too far with it at times. Plus it doesn't help that they embrace it just being entertainment. It's almost like they aren't taking it seriously so the fans can't take it seriously either. On the other hand, if the fans also embrace it being fake and know what WWE is trying to do, then they shouldn't be so negative either.

One thing I've noticed though. A lot of fans will knock WWE for things like that or their bad comedy, rightfully so for the most part, but if NJPW, PWG, Lucha Underground, or some indy fed did the same things it would be called great. If any of the above did Mae Young's hand birthing segment, or Katie Vick, or any other infamous angle/vignette, it would be praised as great "comedy" wrestling. I don't see much difference between Big Dick Johnson and Joey Ryan.

Undertaker said it best in a recent interview; the new guys they are getting in do amazing moves but if you have bad mic skills and can't connect with the audience it doesnt matter how many flips you do off the top rope because fans will get bored the next time they see that same flip. There's not really a Stone Cold, Rock, Undertaker, Cena type wrestler right now in the industry.

People in the business and most of the current fanbase forgot that wrestling was supposed to a simulated athletic contest featuring "athletes" that had over the top personalities who feuded with each other. They drew you in with their wild personalities and you wanted to see them clash.

Now it's just a visual spectacle almost to Cirque du Soleil levels. Now the wrestling promotions and fans embrace that it's just entertainment and all fake. Still, I'd rather have the spot monkeys than the dumbass "comedy" wrestling "genre". The fans who defend dick flips, thumbs up butts, and invisible hand grenades are even worse.

While TC likes to just troll with it, the "don't like it don't watch it" idea is valid. It's what I did long ago. Nothing is going to save WWE. People act like HHH will be a savior to the company, but while he has good ideas, he has plenty of bad ones also. Plus there's Stephanie. They're always going to be corporate, PG friendly "wrestling" now, then, and forever.

From what I've noticed, SW fans get called the worst by other SW fans. Mostly by fanboys who would cream their pants if Disney made a SW movie that just featured Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy counting their money. They just can't get over that people had the complete utter audacity to not like The Last Jedi, Solo, and/or Rogue One.
