The main complaint seems to be the thing I was worried about

The game focuses so much on realism and immersion that it comes at the expense of being fun

Haven't played yet btw, but I've seen this opinion enough times to know that it's not just one lone dude who thinks it

So just goodbto look at.

In life it is so easy to get frustrated about the things you don't have. Somehow, this frustration can turn into your focal point, and we sort of forget what we're grateful for. We forget to count our blessings. I know I do.
So, given the givens in your life, what are you grateful for?

Me...
I'm glad my health isn't as bad as it could be.
I'm glad that I still have my mom.
I don't like my job, but I'm glad I got it .
I'm thankful for my friends, though I don't see them much.
I'm happy that I got my kitty cat and he's healthy.
I'm glad I have my home, my apartment.
I'm glad I'm not struggling financially at the moment.

How about you?

Yes it is a form of eugenics. At the very least it's artificial selection which amounts to the same thing in this instance.

The opposite, it's morally wrong to bring a sick child into existence

I think theres an argument for this tbh

That is just a world of suffering. I work in a school, and Down syndrome isnt even the worst of it. Weve got some kids in a wheelchair with no use of their limbs that do nothing but gurgle, screech, and blow snot bubbles... Im sorry, but what is the point?

Well what's the point of having kids at all if they all will get sick and die one day? People should just not have kids and then they'll never have to go through pain and die.

Im not even going to address your replies if youre not going to even put in an attempt to be intellectually honest

Do what you want. It's a serious question. We're trying to decide which sick kids should be aborted and a natural conclusion from that idea is to never have kids so they'll never go through pain.

No arguments there. I don't plan to reproduce, especially with global warming and all that fucking up our immediate futures

Anyone who has a kid in this day and age is selfish

Maybe. But nature just keeps bringing babies.

IMO, these are the only appropriate situations for abortion.

1. The child will have a severe mental illness or deformity.

2. Carrying the child to term will greatly endanger the mothers life. Eg. The mother is pregnant and has cancer, an abortion is required to start chemo.

3. Rape (not just a simple accusation, requires a police report).

4. Incest.

What about abject poverty?

Not exactly, but you have to remember that the child might be a blessing to you, and selectively aborting babies with health problems or defects is a type of artificial selection that we're supposed to avoid if possible, especially since the Nazis used this practice to try and make a pure aryan race. It begs the question, where does it end? If we agree down syndrome babies should be aborted, what about any baby with a health problem? Should we abort babies with asthma, diabetes, missing limb, deaf, etc.? Insurmountable health problems fall onto a subjective spectrum when we think of what health problems we will or won't tolerate.

The problem I think though is that you got to be careful that it doesn't turn into a modern game like Splinter Cell. It needs to be modern but be thoroughly Assassin's Creed.

Cause they listed Silent Hill but not Silent Hill 2 (which was way scarier), but they listed Fatal Frame 2 and not the first Fatal Frame.

So did they just legit snub Silent Hill 2 completely?

Good question. Not sure. I think it's like you said they wanted to cover every series, but why they didn't mentionion SH2 over 1 and vice versa on Fatal Frame I'm not sure.
