If you're playing the WoL mode find and defeat Doc Louis ASAP. It will unlock the gym which you can drop off 4 spirits to auto level while you're doing other stuff.

Not needed considering how many snacks the game gives you. Plus most of them are garbage and you'll only be using a main or two from each of the 3 types.

Many of the movements in SSBU are just as fast as Melee which is throwing people off. I haven't really noticed anything wrong with jumping though.

I'm by no means a pro player but I have regularly played Smash since 64 and I don't know if it is me getting used to the controls but this game feels harder. Especially the Character Unlock fights.

They definitely made the AI harder, though I only had trouble with a few of the unlocks. Never had to fight any more than twice though.
