Wasn't it just an additional 5% stat increase? It might prevent affection from dropping below 100, too. I dunno -- always seemed like a waste of gems to me.

I tried entering battle with no ammo once, just to see if I could use grenade skills and stuff. Didn't work. =|

As for buying event stuff, the costume is only available for a limited time, but it's not really that important. You should check to see what achievements you can unlock, because getting the free 5* furniture (the floating thing, the war drums or whatever) count toward those and can get you free tickets. Of course, you may just want to redeem masks for tokens directly (3:1 ratio).

I got G11 on the first rate-up day, IIRC, so I never had to go through a lot of resources. Didn't get any other 5*s when I was doing my Lee-Enfield search either, oddly. I've gotten plenty of Thompsons doing 30x4 poverty pulls, though.

Anyway, it'll be fun having another grenadier AR who isn't complete trash or poor against bosses. Might have to try leveling the UMPs as well, since my FMG-9, while novel in a way, isn't panning out that well against snoipah units.

Also, although she's not on any of my teams, M16A1 became my first unit to reach the max level of 100 thanks to always being my main tank as I trained on 0-2.

I saved resources by not going very hard in the EXP-boosting event. I got my JV team up to 100, Lee and G11 up to Lv80, and a few other stragglers are about to break into the seventies. Even when the new units come out, I'm probably going to try to keep 100K in all available categories, just for a cushion.
