Turkey works better for presentation as a whole bird, but chicken is more flexible with what you can use it for (soups, pizza, enchiladas, casseroles, curries, fried chicken, chicken Parmesan, Chinese, Indian, Thai, etc.)

Google has 932 million hits for "chicken recipes" but only 405 million for "turkey recipes" (and most of those are either roast turkey or leftovers).

When my spouse passed away he had a bunch of clothes that were too big for me, some of which was either brand new or in nearly new condition, so I donated it to Goodwill. Anything that even remotely fit me I kept or gave to friends, and anything that was too worn out or stained went in the dumpster.

I have an older car with separate door and ignition keys, so I keep a spare door key in my wallet.

I also keep my car keys on their own ring. My grandfather always said you should do this because if you have all your keys on the same ring, it puts extra weight on the ignition switch which will make it wear out faster. I don't know if that's true, but it does make things a lot easier when I go to the mechanic.

the cost of living just traps people into being there their whole life.

Wouldn't cost of living trap people out, rather than in?

If you're making just enough money to get by, you won't be able to save anything to move away.

You'll probably need first and last month's rent plus a security deposit, if you have any furniture you'll need to rent a truck, plus you'll probably have to quit your job and find a new one. It cost me about $3-4,000 to move from California to Nebraska, and that doesn't include how much I lost giving up my job.

SOME washing machines with a detergent dispenser require that you move a piece in the drawer to allow the powdered detergent to flow properly.

On mine (a 15 year old Whirlpool Duet) there's a separator that has two positions, in one it acts like a dam to hold liquid detergents, in the other it's open at the bottom allowing the water to carry the powder away. It looks like this: http://www.fixya.com/uploads/images/DA572AB.jpg

Have you ever watched reruns of the early episodes of M*A*S*H and felt bad whenever Henry talks about his family, since you know he never makes it home?

And did you ever realize that Hawkeye and Trapper were responsible for Henry's death? In one episode Henry gets transferred to Tokyo and the two conspire to get him to return. If he hadn't come back to the 4077th, he'd have never been on the plane that was shot down.
