And what issues are you having with gameplay? Grand Operations? I like it. The variety in mission types keeps it fun and entertaining and gives the multiplayer a sort of narrative experience. Not to mention how epic it feels to get to day three and be behind by two only to pull out a win. Oh, and when the sudden death actually triggers, it's fucking epic.

Uhhh ... have you even played it? It's not even remotely like a mod. Completely new maps, completely new weapons, new weapon customization, new weapon specializing, new (faction specific) vehicles, character customization, different setting, new modes, etc. It's only like a 'mod' in the sense that both games are large scale FPS games. Either you are full of shit, or you have been playing games with some seriously dedicated full time modders.

Honestly, I don't think I'd really have a problem up to about $20. The issues are that Netflix Canada is seriously lacking in content, and that every network thinks that they can launch their own streaming package for the same cost, which has basically recreated cable in the digital space. It's absurd to think that people are going to pay $80+ for a number of streaming services every month, when the whole selling point of streaming was that it was what you wanted, when you wanted it, all in one place, for a fraction of the cost. People are just going to sail the high seas if this shit keeps up.

However, I'm pretty damn sick of how much they have dropped in favor of their sci-fi movie quality level shows that they churn out every year, that last for a season or two, only to be cancelled because they suck. It's garbage, and if I had any serious alternative, I'd dropped Netflix in a second.

There are no good or bad guys in the world. It's impossible to boil down any country into such a simple moral paradigm. I'd say that China's blatant disregard for human rights definitely makes their government, at best, pretty morally questionable.

There absolutely are bad guys, take the Taliban or ISIS as examples, or the North Korean leadership.

I used to naively believe there aren't bad guys. When you get the majority of a population to murderously demand the death of "apostates" and crack down on every aspect of private life, you are bad guys as far as I'm concerned. Nazis are another obvious example. I'm not sorry for saying that. Unapologetic serial killers and such are more examples.

I think in reality free will is an elaborate illusion, so I don't believe in outright hating people, but I absolutely believe some people are corrupted into an evil manner of conduct, and sadly there are some parts of the world where the brainwashing affects a majority of the population.

China is indeed quite a conundrum though. It's certainly not a good/bad situation there, as it is with more completely murderous societies.

I either wasn't clear or you didn't understand me. I was talking about entire countries. Yes there are obviously bad people. No need to fucking evangelize some condescending philosophy vomit at me.

Because they are all generic, far reaching statements. If you include Merry Christmas, you have to include the version for literally every holiday. Happy Holidays literally covers all of them.

Is Santa typically associated with other holiday traditions besides Christmas?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stories I was read as a child regarding Santa was directly correlated with Christmas. He said Ho Ho, Merry Christmas. I don't remember him saying Ho Ho Happy Kwanza or whatever.

Here's the issue.

His appearance? You can thank Odin for that.
Leaving things out for him? Odin again.
His reindeer? Yep, Odin.
His trademark red suit? That one was actually Coca Cola in the 50's.

My point is that he might as well serve as a symbol for the holiday season since he's just an amalgamation of multiple different religious traditions, so saying he's Christian, despite having almost zero Christian influence, is stupid.

That doesn't change the fact that they don't have specific cards for each specific holiday, and instead using the generic 'Happy Holidays' to cover all of them. Again, no 'Happy Hannukah' or 'Happy Kwanza' or 'Happy Yule' or 'Happy Saturnalia' or anything like that. Stop acting like they are singling Christmas out just because they are treating it the exact same way the treated every other god damn holiday.

Okay, you are trolling. Good to know.

Watched the Angry Joe review, and there seems to be a lot of problems with the game. Launched with modes still not finished, tiny amount of maps, weird stories no one cares about, historical inaccuracies, you can be bombed as you spawn, shot and killed as you jump from a plane, and subtitles are white with no black border so you can't read shit when it is snowing, which is a good portion of the game.

They fixed the plane/bombing already. More stories are coming, but that's subjective anyway. Yes, some modes are not included yet, but there are already like 10 maps and 8 modes, so I don't know what he's bitching about. Not only that, but all future content is free, which is a fucking gamechanger for BF.

The things they fixed though;
- Classes are balanced. Each has a role. Gadgets are almost all useful.
- Focus on squads; the map defaults to spawning on your squad, squadmates can revive anyone in their squad.
- Weapons are insanely great, you can customize how they function, and separately alter each piece of the gun's skin. From barrel to scope to muzzle, handguard, butt end, etc. You can basically find any range on any class, which is a godsend.
- Grand Operations are insanely fun. The Airborne round, in particular, is super fun.
- The stories are good and far more grounded than the multiplayer. I haven't completed them all yet, but they are closer to the historical stuff some people wanted.
- Historical inaccuracies is a bullshit complaint. The games have never been accurate. It's completely arbitrary to be into the series until now and only be angry about inaccuracies now.

Honestly, maybe you should stop getting your reviews from a Youtube 'celeb' whose whole gimmick is being negative about things. It's a pretty common gimmick nowadays, and the whole reason I don't take Youtube reviewers seriously.
