This is exactly what Peterson does with Cultural Marxism, though. Remember when he said he didn't think he could support gay marriage legalization in Australia because it would be giving to much ground to the 'Cultural Marxists'?

The most telling feature is that he can't identify a single group or entity that actively claims to be Cultural Marxists. It's just a label he applies to anyone he doesn't agree with to try and discredit them ad-hominem.

Actually, it makes no sense for a completely different reason;

All crime is legal, which includes white collar crimes.Corporations would just wait until that day of the year to do all their underhaded things, like firebombing their competition, making illegal deals and the like.

Then you have the fact that even if 1 out of every 4 people were killed, you would have the population drop overnight. It would take much more than a year to replace the workers, especially in important roles like paramedics or truckers.

I mean, that's a pretty crazy strawman. Obviously no one is saying that enjoyment is entirely based on unrelated views of a person, but most artforms tend to reflect the person creating them. Comedy is especially centered around the personality of the comedian. Like, you wouldn't assume that George Carlin was a super patriotic, ultra-religious conservative, or that Seinfeld is a polite, unobservant man who hates sarcasm, or that Sarah Silverman is a super religious, prim and proper lady who despises blue humor in real life. What is especially weird about that argument is that the comments themselves are being defended as 'jokes', so the controversial statements are literally part of his work.

Anyone that thinks a comedian should have to be careful about what they say probably shouldn't even say George Carlin.

Alright, you are completely ignoring what I said. That's that then.

Yeah I meant in a similar rural area of course.

Like I said, it's a sanitized version. The towns in Sask I experienced were pretty much like that, but there was also racism, sexism, rampant alcohol abuse, tension between First Nations and white folks, and a huge (almost fundamentalist) religious influence. It's very conservative, very agriculturally focused, and it is strongly resistant to change.

It's not like that. The fireflies only appear after you've gathered enough signs of the animal, like feathers/tracks/marks, etc. You still hunt them, it just guides you once you are on the right track.

Havent quite settled into one, started with sword and shield, then long sword, then that insect staff. Tried hammer once last night but ran into that Trex thing who bent me over real quick, will prob give it another shot tonight

That is th3 first wall in the game.
Upgrade your armor and preferred weapon to highest level and good luck.
Oh and be sure to eat someting from cafe. The 50+ max hp could help...

To add, remember that every weapon handles radically differently and has a different role. For example, hammers need to focus on the head to stun the monster, hunting horns need to buff the party, insect glaives are for mounting, bows have range and status effects, etc. Figure out how you like hunting the most and the moments where you go, "that was awesome!" and find the weapon that focuses on that.

Hmmmmm...I always went for tail and body shots with my hammer, at least in multi-player.

You can, but it is inefficient. The tail is almost always sever-able, meaning it should be the focus of sharp weapons. Body shots are generally not that useful. However, hitting the head with a hammer is almost always a guaranteed stun weakpoint and many have horns or headplates that can be broken.

AvantgardeAClue posted...

They "added" a War Story? You mean they kept back content in favor of seeming like they're actually releasing new things every month.

That's literally one thing out of the entire new update, but yes, they added more story content, because people complained that they didn't add any more War Stories in the last game.

AvantgardeAClue posted...

You know why so many games are moving to this game's as a service model? So they can lure people in with promises of more content in the future. At least with the season passes you were guaranteed at least four to five map packs since you paid for it. There is absolutely nothing you're entitled to in Battlefield 5 outside of what's on the disc, and if EA decides to abort the post-launch content over it, there's nothing that can be done.

So basically, it's a bad game because you don't trust them? That has absolutely no bearing on the quality of the game, at all.

AvantgardeAClue posted...
You say the other Battlefield games had a shaky launch, but the only one that comes to mind is Battlefield 4, and that game had plenty of content on launch to the point where they could fix the nonsense and shape it up to be one of the best games in the series. Battlefield 5 is gonna have to put out all of its content with the bugs and glitches lingering in the background, and the terrible sales certainly aren't gonna be a great motivator to get anything done fast.

Oh, and Battlefield Hardline and 1 released without any major issues. I know, I was at all three launches.

It has almost the same amount of maps and game modes, with more vehicles, more weapons, more customization, etc.

I love how it's about 'pride' but then they have to hide their bigotry behind something else. It's like Nazis who say they are the superior race and argue for the suspension of human rights for some groups, but then hide behind things like 'freedom of speech' the minute someone outsmarts or outmuscles them.
