It's usually best to balance level scaling with set enemies. It's fun to level up and be able to stomp on weak enemies but some basic enemies should always be around your level to keep combat interesting through the game, and to keep xp appropriate for your level.

Looks fine; they just need to polish up some textures. It's still early. The art style carries it anyway.

As for the combat it looks like they're just low level and don't have much gear so they have to plink away at enemies. I'm sure it will be more engaging as you play.

I did for a while when they excelled at lazy, middle of the road games like Farcry 3, Watch Dogs, and the middle few Assassin's Creed games. people finally started calling them out on their samey shit and they've done a pretty good turn around. All three of those series are much better now as well as the other stuff they're putting out. I'm still cautious that they'll try and bite me again but I'm optimistic now.

I don't care much one way or the other. Battlefield is the only multiplayer game I play and they're still clinging on to single player. I like playing it but if it disappeared I'd be more upset by the wasted potential than it actually not being there.

Pretty sure this theory was thrown out the window years ago. They were just trying to rationalize the tiny arms but, as the head and jaws grew more massive, the arms became less important and receded. It takes a lot of fuel to run the body of a Sexual Tyrannosaurus and being primary scavengers would not have been an effective evolutionary strategy.

Just bought one online. Excited for it to come. Got the Battlefield V bundle.

I've been meaning to do that but I usually focus on games during black friday. I give myself $100 to spend and catch up on as much of my backlog as possible. Been getting about 5 games each year. After spending a hundred bucks I don't really feel like I need to buy more stuff. I do have a ton of movies on my list though; and it's only getting longer.
