How can they see it if your phone is never in their possession? My wife has an iphone and its demanding of being locked is ridiculous. But she runs a business so if she lost it, it could be bad, which is why saving passwords isn't secure at all.

Well I'm less quick to do that to people I don't know that well. That's sort of how I behave with family and friends.

On the chewing with the mouth open thing, it is gross sounding but I'd go light on a person if you know they have teeth problems. Had a tooth ache for a while years ago and some foods forced me to do it just so it wouldn't hurt. I eventually got that tooth dealt with so it's no longer a problem.

I'll put it this way. Most RT scores Ive seen for DC animated movies are good. Throne of Atlantis was 23. Aquaman has always had a negative perception with the general public so I feel this is a good score all things considered. (Like also previous DC movies aside from wonder woman not doing so hot)

The trailer looks good to me. Still wish they'd dye dudes hair blonde though, especially now that he's getting his traditional outfit. Hair and beard length don't bother me as he did have that in the cartoon I grew up with.

We do, but most of us just go out and buy whatever we want. I mean, I'd love to get a new car, but I'm sure as hell not going to ask my family for it.

That's sort of why I told people not to get me anything years ago. It essentially creates an awkward situation where I'm being punished more than rewarded in any meaningful way.

When I want something, I buy it. This is the point where people usually say things like "But sentimental gifts!" or "It's supposed to be the thought that counts!", but I've never really felt like you need tangible gifts to show sentimentality anyway, and I actually dislike the idea that birthdays or Christmas are the only time you can show affect to a person, so I'd rather give useful gifts to friends and family just whenever if I see something specific I know they'll want, and not feel compelled to buy them things solely because pop culture says I have to.

(It also doesn't help that I don't celebrate Christmas at all, so I have zero interest in gifts related to it.)

Sometime around when I was 20 or so my stance basically became "My gift to you is the money you save by not buying me a gift, and your gift to me is the same in reverse. As adults saving time, money, and stress is actually the best possible gift any of us can give to one another."

I still occasionally get presents for my friends' kids because they're still young and Christmas is still an important thing to them, but I tend to think that birthdays and Christmas should mostly be for kids and adults should grow out of it as a "WAAAH, I WANT PRESENTS!" sort of holiday.

Yeah back when I was working fast food overheard a customer talking about being stressed over buying adult family members gifts due to everyone being judged over who bought the best/most expensive gift. Wondered why they put themselves through that. How about you take the money you'd spend on me and buy yourself something and I'll do the same.

Don't care for Spyro but he's a far more reasonable request imo than people like master chief or Goku. Especially Goku at least chief is a icon that defines the era of fps being number 1. But certain character just don't feel right but they've already broke past that with characters like ryu and snake even though I love eating both the games they are from.

I've always been intrigued by walugi but never cared enough for sports games just to have a game with him in it. I don't see why not, he seems stuck to spin off games and this is a spin off game technically. I mean it is super smash Bros which makes it feel like Mario is the main guy.

I'm a grown ass adult. I don't ask for anything buy my mom gets me shit anyways. Sometimes I wonder if it would be easier to just give in and pick something when she asks what I want.

Though I told her long ago if she insists on getting me something money or booze is always acceptable. And socks but she's gonna buy me those anyways. Been getting that for Christmas every damn year since I was a kid. Funny as a kid you hate it. As a an adult you like it because with all the other things going on new socks tend to be low priority.

I hear a train go along a small rural spur line a few miles from my house almost daily. The spur services a quarry, a cement plant, a phosphate processor, and several farmer's co-ops.

The rail line in town usually has a train go by every 20 to 30 minutes, it's a Class I line (BNSF).

I used to live in a place even where a train came through almost daily. Always like 3 in the fucking morning too. I lived close to the tracks so it was annoying.

Depends where you live. Almost non existent where I live. Ones you can get without some sorta degree anyways.

Where I live options are pretty much physical labor fast food retail or the prison. As far as jobs without degrees/certifications go. Prison requires a certification but they themselves put you through it while even paying you while you take the class.

The prison system does that here, too. They pay you like if you were working while going through training...

They just started forcing you to do it before you could work here not long ago. Before they'd go ahead and throw you in the Lions den and send you off to a class when one became available. Too many issues where guards could get away with breaking rules because they weren't "trained" yet though

The main thing it's worse in today people are constantly outraged or offended by things that really don't matter. I'm sure idiots like this always existed but thanks to social media they have a much larger voice than they used to and it's managed to suck in weaker minded people into being the same way.

I'm sure I could mention other points but I realize they are mostly opinions that will differ from person to person. Like while it was a rougher life some people may have enjoyed the wild west more due to having more freedom. That's just off the top of my head and not my personal opinion as I'd rather be here today than there.

Nero is more serious iirc but not Vergil level of seriousness. But he shows anger more than Dante definitely. 4 is a good game only flaw was reusing a bunch of levels but in reverse. Some of Dante's weapons are really fun though like Pandora's box.

Rondo of Blood is probably the best "traditional" Castlevania game, and SotN is arguably the best "Metroidvania" Castlevania game, so I would say yes.

Yes, I know Castlevania 4 has better whip and player control, but it is also very linear and with easier difficulty compared to Rondo of Blood. Rondo of Blood is the better game.

Easier until the last couple of levels maybe. Seriously last level of 4 was some bullshit. Rondo difficulty seems consistent (it gets harder gradually instead of a large difficulty spike) with the only exception the bridge in 7. Rest of the level is a cake walk compared to it.

Not necessarily. Very few, though. There would most likely be some women that just excelled at sport even more than some men...

I'd say mix non contact sports but keep contact sports separate. Basketball I think would probably the most contact sports I could see mixing as it's not like they are trying to clobber each other.

was in a mood for most of the week due to an asshat of a co-worker (always talking to customers, and doing whatever he wants), pisses me off that management hasn't done anything about it. what getas me even more is that when he was hired, he put a stipulation in that he can't work weekends due to having another job that pays more, and I've been working every weekend where I work for the past 3 yrs.

You can't really be mad about the working weekends situation. Can't blame the guy for giving priority to the job that pays him more.

At a job I used to work we lost one of our best guys because of something similar difference being is he'd call out of work if the other job needed him to come in.

As far as the world goes imo. No people ruin it. Everyone has their idea of what they think is best and has become extremely vocal about pushing those ideas onto people who disagree.

On the subject of it being stretched I'm referring to Cloud (and the breaking of many fan rules but that's less relevant). The popular line used in fan conversations used to be that the character had to be on a Nintendo console, which Cloud was considered to be a breach of.

Regardless I think we'll be seeing a Lego minifigure sooner rather than later. Shock value has become a key part of SSB advertising.

I think what she meant is they've appeared in a Nintendo game. And cloud had. In kingdom hearts at the very least and I wanna say some final fantasy spinoff.

It was just on sale over Black Friday. Pissed me off as I want far habor but refuse to pay 25 bucks for a dlc. Would have jumped on the sale but had already had my heart set on buying another game. And a dlc is never going to beat out a full game (2 actually) when the prices are in the same range.

I know cost of living changes depending on where you are. And it wasn't high there but most people in similar situations in the same area lived in pay by income apartments he didn't.

So what he was payed is neither here nor there just agreeing with guy that a lot of people could cut unneeded things out of their costs in order to get by if needed.

My brother lives closer to a city (literally walking distance I believe) so cost of living is higher he gets paid more I wanna say 30k yearly and he supports himself his gf and kid. He can't afford a home phone or tv though. (He has a cell phone and so does his gf) she has a job too but it's literally just enough to pay her car bill.

Edit. Come to think of it he does live in city limits just his immediate area doesn't look like a city

Yeah. It works for some people. I do agree that there are a good amount of people that buy stuff that they dont need. Though, I guess needs for people depend on their lifestyle and stuff. But I dont think thats the biggest reason for people not having enough, tbh...

Maybe you are right but I'm just saying when your luck goes sour there are ways to tighten your belt. Being poor sucks I know there was a period in my life all I got was one meal a day.

Very, very much a long shot because of the Nintendo publishing theme. Doubt we'll ever see a Rockstar original character.

I like rdr more than gta but if we got a rockstar character I'd want Trevor. He'd be hilarious in smash.

Realistically only one I'd see Nintendo even consider (and still a super long shot) would be Jimmy from bully as it was much closer to a kiddy gta. Violence but nothing extreme. And no killing

Tbf, I think having a cell phone and access to internet would be considered a requirement for employment by a lot of businesses today...
And some companies have made it difficult to make payments offline or without a phone.

Local libraries have computers. And lack of cell phone in the past hasn't stopped me from getting a job. I just straight up tell employers in the interview if I don't have a job I can't afford one. It's a solid point and they understand.
