There've been multiple Smash games where the select screen hasn't been perfectly even, it would be uneven anyways once DLC characters are added, and it wouldn't make the slightest amount of sense for them to create characters with the intent of balancing the select screen. Like have people never looked at a Sakurai-produced games menu? Symmetry is not even close to a concern for him. I wouldnt be surprised if he specifically pushes for asymmetry --- |
