| WazzupGenius00 10/10/18 3:20:22 PM #9 | FWIW it's not a romhack of the game, it's just a savestate. If you try to start a second file it starts with nothing. It's like they started the game and literally just walked around all of the overworld getting everything possible that doesn't require entering a dungeon, went back to the first screen, and savestated. Also if you try to just use the regular battery save to come back to the game later you'll be in for a major letdown: the game automatically loads that savestate every time you start it so all battery save is erased. You have to use savestates only if you want to keep your data --- |

| WazzupGenius00 09/18/18 5:33:14 PM #43 | Okay yeah this seems like a consistent thing, playing with more than one other person online makes it pretty unpleasant. If someone quits out, their character stays in the game. They wont attack or anything, but theyll walk around (that way you dont get stuck). If a new person joins the session in that character slot they automatically take over that character instead of selecting for themselves. You still get to change characters when you use a Continue though If the host of the session quits out, it kicks all players out. I hope this in particular can get changed. --- |

The default seemed fine for me even when online, and Ive played these games a ton on MAME so I know how it should feel Online connection worked pretty well when connected with one other person, but when a third joined there were problems. Still need to play a bit more to see if thats a consistent thing or just that one time. --- |
