With Hexlord, you have to consider a few things. Like if you are quest mage and you are against a control deck you don't need Hexlord to really complete anything. If you are against aggro you can't play hexlord (unless you went second) and even then it might still be bad. If you're using it as a control deck against aggro if you can play it it's just a win more. Yes it's pretty good in control vs control, but you really have to bank on your opponent being control too to get the value you want a lot of times. Because against aggro you are keeping as much early game stuff as possible to help fend off the initial wave. So those cards combined might not be as impactful as if you'd replaced hexlord with a big threat.

Honestly, if Iceblock was still around I think the card would look a lot better.

Also, overwatch is bad. The way Blizzard has handled the game and their community is nothing short of incompetence. Repeated events, lackluster support for problems in matchmaking, ridiculous balance changes, etc.

One of hearthstones biggest issues is that a lot of things just feel very similar. Like murlocs, pirates, other synergies, while the class and some cards might change slightly, what and how they do things usually don't. Big hand decks still do the same thing. Big minion decks do the same thing. This format especially is really bad because there are almost no decks that have any significant amount of cards from the current set.

I think Sharkfin is just good in an aggressive rogue deck with like pirates. We'll have to see if we get any more pirate synergy. I kind of wish we could forget pirates existed, but you know.

Springpaw is also just good in midrange hunter, a deck that has been on the fringe of play like ever since it got kicked out of the meta when CotW was nerfed. It might not do much at first, but I can see it becoming more popular when the rotation happens.

I forgot about spell hunter, but right now I think Baited Arrow is maybe like a 30th card in the deck?

Also, Hex Lord is way too slow to be played in quest mage because it costs 8 mana. You can't even combo it with like frost nova. It's really for a heavy control vs control matchup. There are just too many situations where the card is a bad play.

I've spent around 100 for a fugu meal before. I don't think it's really worth the chance of death since the taste is not really a thing, it's more this really weird texture.

There are other things I'd like to try, like a hot dog with truffles on it is on the list.

But for non like exotic things, I think $50 is what I'd cap out at after tips but before drinks and appetizers. I rarely get desserts. The two additions would probably add like $25 in my case.

Rick and Morty fans are like insufferable. The thing is, at this point sometimes I'm not even sure if someone is being sarcastic when they pull out the IQ joke thing, or if they even know that the pickle rick thing was a completely staged. IMO they are worse than MLP at its height. I've yet to see an episode of the show and it took years until MLP died down where I actually watched the show.

I know this is like a smaller set now, but Souls series fans are also among the worst people to converse with. I don't think I've seen another game where the fanbase reacts so hostilely towards people who have negative things to say about it.

Overwatch was also really bad when I stopped playing, and from what I understand it got even worse. A lot of it is Blizzard's fault too.

I also think the PCMasterRace crowd is also really unhealthy. Yeah, you can make a PC more powerful than a console (somewhat) for like the same price. But the gap is closing and they are just tossing a ton of misinformation or just downright lies. Yeah, when it comes to building a PC they are really helpful, but they are like worse than the height of what it was like from fanboys from the 90s console wars era.

Also, right now I don't think the Star Wars fanbase is that bad for the size of it. A lot of them are actually united and upset about the state of the franchise and I think rightfully so.

Saying anime is a fanbase is way too broad. That's like saying videogames or movies is a fanbase. Anime has several different genres and subgenres that go into it. Some anime fanbases are really bad, like the "Only 80s and 90s shows are good" crowd.

One of the reasons I don't use uber eats a lot is because I know if I order direct from a restaurant and they mess up most of the time they tell me why and I get like a discount or something. This protection doesn't exist from ubereats. Like one time I ordered from a local pizza hut and they messed up my order (but I didn't actually notice). An hour later they came back and gave me my original order (without me asking), I got to keep the original one, AND they emailed me a coupon for a free pizza after too.

Doesn't the app specifically tell you if they are in the middle of another order? I know with regular Uber I can see if they are still on another trip. I know I have a habit of auto canceling if I see this sometimes.

Even if it was a long time ago now sephiroth has consistently beat Mario by fairly large margins. Also, I suspect of all characters sephiroth maintains his strength pretty well. On top of that I dont think mario really benefits from smash boosts that much since hes already a top tier contestant.

But I'd still say it's a coin flip overall.

I don't understand when people say the game is like autopilot. In terms of FF games, FFXIII probably has the highest concentration of enemies that will probably just wipe you when you first get to them unless you are sufficiently prepared for them and know how to use your paradigms effectively.

The problem is that the game takes 10 hours or something to like explain how this actually works and such. It's like come on, this should have been in like in the first couple of hours. Like before this happens the game is very easy.

This largely depends if you are also going to play FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns. Like if you don't want to do that I'd say probably skip, but if you do then the trilogy is worth a play through. The games are very character focused and the cast is probably the most divisive in the series. You really need to play all 3 games to really get full closure on everyone. But overall I think the trilogy has among the best developed casts in the series. On top of that I also think the world building is extremely good and the soundtrack for XIII is number one.

The actual story though is kind of "wtf". It's really more about characters reacting to what is happening. XIII itself poses some interesting questions but they are solved in the lamest way possible. Some of the writing also seems a little iffy at times. And just like the characters the games themselves all seem pretty divisive in terms of their gameplay. The other is that the characters do start kind of bland or at least not as immediately likable compared to some other ff characters. But weird things happen over the course of the games. Like characters I didn't think much about in the first couple of games show up later in the third one and I can't help but think that "man this is so cool more games should do stuff like this."

As for the battle system. In XIII I don't really know what people expected. Like in terms of when it came out it was the best battle system a FF game has had. XIII-2 improves on it a little bit, and LR modifies it as it's based on using one character (Lightning).
