Had like an amazing finish vs a combo mage. Like he was a turn away from his combo and I had to win that turn. For the entire game hes just been clearing and freezing my board. I've played some good mage dd spells but my board was full -1 and unfrozen so most likely I'd hit my own minions. He has a minion up.

My board is the result of me playing a 1 mana jaina followed by a tess to replay all my rogue cards. This got me several more cards that cost 1 mana. Among them were arcane anomaly, the spell dmg bird, shooting star, arcane missiles, and another jaina. Remember that since I played tess as jaina that I'm shadow valera again.

So I think and in like I cant count I have to go and go face trade my low attack minion in to get +3 spell dmg on the field, shooting star, double arcane, but I realize I'm one off and arcane missile animation takes forever. I play the one mana jaina, whose animation also takes forever, and hero power like right before the game ends.

Tess Rogue should nearly always win against Shudderwock, yeah.

TBH, Shudderwock struggles just to beat plain ol' Fal'dorei Strider. If you land a bunch of spiders, they can't clear with volcano, and Shudderwock is basically volcano: the deck. Spiders are also 4/4 so they don't die to Hagatha. There's just no easy answer to spiders. Add in Academic Espionage as well, and yeah, Wock only has like...7 big removal spells/clears; they will run out.

Ae rogue is like significantly worse than normal miracle with spiders in the matchup. Ae is just too slow if you want consistency a lot of times or too luck sack. I have hemetvin my version specifically to try to turbo to espionage cards (and to get a lot of spiders). You also lose all the burst because ae packages often drop cards like Leroy from their lists since more of their deck has to be either dedicated to pushing into the later stages of the game or just has to be more defensive.

Like if my opponent gets shudderwock off by card 20 I think the chances of me winning are below 50% with tess rogue a lot of the time. If I'm normal spider I can still win because of potential in hand burst with Leroy and such.

Spider rogue is only provably a 60/40 or so given both players are good and like I said tess rogue is a significantly worse deck and the strengyhs it gains in the matchup dont make up for the losses. Im not actually convinced my opponents have been good either. Its hard to tell when every shudderwock shaman basically does the same thing. Tess rogues real good matchup is actually odd warrior

Had a great game as tess rogue vs shudder shaman.

In any case I played espionage when I had like 8 cards (2 spiders) in my deck. And the cards I've been getting have not been great. However, one card was amazing. I draw into a 1 mana hagatha and start to play 1 mana minions to get some spells. And then it hits me. Omg. I'm a shaman now. Tess replays all my rogue cards.

So knowing my opponent just had to double overload to clear my board last turn I basically refill my entire board again, as well as draw several cards (that cost 1)

I just completely uberlucked agaisnt a deathrattle rogue as tess rogue. The guy had lethal on board and I top decked a 1 mana myras which got me the cards I needed to full clear his board. The next turn I dropped Tess (who did nothing because the guy is a rogue) and my opponent had no answer to remove her from the board.

I also won brawl on my first attempt. I know brawl is mmr based but I think co op works differently. I actually messed up and didn't win the turn I could be because I thought he had more than one form.

Also had a game as tess rogue vs a control warrior. I mean RIP warrior because when you play tess to equip a fiery war axe and then play four heroic strike, 3 crowlys, 2 cleaves, and some other nonsense its the reason the card is in the deck despite only being played like every 8 games.

what exactly is like not as good in this one? I don't think Darksiders 1 or 2 are like amazing games, but they mix some of the better aspects of Zelda's dungeons and puzzles with some god of war style action very well.

So I hit rank 2. I wasn't planning on climbing at all but I just played a few games when I didn't want to do arena. Players late in a month before an expansion are just both not good and playing pretty bad decks. Not even bad, just suboptimal lists or whatever. I mean I'm basically playing an old cubelock that has one boomsday card in it.

So now with like a week left I'm considering trying to hit legend. I'd be fine with rank 1 because it would mean I only drop to rank 5. Basically since it means I can experiment with new cards when they come out without worrying about rank.

I have a hogger in my deck. My opponent has a Elise, Barron Geddon, and cairne in his deck. Yeah geddon Is not as good in shaman but it's still great and cairne is great too. Elise is average.

I still won because lol shaman.

So i drafted an AWFUL warlock deck and went 6 wins. Almost 7 but my opponent topdecked owl from no hand.

I follow by getting an even worse mage deck. At 2-1 I run against a warlock who drafted Malygos, Juraxus, and malygos.

Out of these, Chrono Trigger with SMW coming closely behind. I'd say Turtles in Time and Castlevania IV are also games that should be considered, although you can make an argument that Turtles in Time is just a very good arcade port.

So the warrior went 12-2. The two losses were to a druid where I didn't draw supercollider and to a priest that just had good counter tools to my deck.

Iirc the break down for classes was

3 warriors
3 druids
2 priests
2 mages
1 rogue
1 paladin
1 warlock
1 hunter

The only other person who almost beat Me was the hunter and that was at high wins. Basically I have two hp and he had explosive up so I played stuff and armored every turn until I had a board strong enough to kill him in one turn. Thankfully he didn't have any burst and I had plenty of taunts.

A lot of arena is knowing when to play around things and when you just can't. You should treat a 0-0 game like a 7-2 game at first imo because you never know what kind of player or deck your opponent has. If your opponent has shown to be like really bad or really good that can change your play. But after that you should start to play around stuff based on your record and the board state.

If you see warrior draft that. If you see shaman ignore that.

i drafted a warrior in arena. Warrior is one of my weaker classes so I don't draft it often, but the class is very strong right now. I got two supercolliders (among other strong cards). But supercollider is so OP. I mean I don't think I drafted very well. I'm 5-0 but I've been fortunate to not be hand screwed with all the late game I have.

The news of like knowing about this is old but I believe it was just "officially confirmed" recently. But like that doesn't really matter, the fact is that we've known about the Loki one for a long ass time now and Scarlet Witch for like a month or so. The Winter Soldier and Falcon duo one is like a week old or something as far as news goes.

The rogue deck went 6 wins, which is better than I thought (5).

But two of the losses were to Warlocks where I was winning until they just dropped Voidlord and it's like "I guess I lose now." The other loss was to a rogue who just did what my deck did better.
