I felt like i was doing good work with the time i had available, but i honestly thought ashe was doing a lot of good digging on day 1/2. I had a strong town lean on him and generally agreed with the points he was making.

It was just unfortunate for everyone that scum was allowed to make d2 a town/town/town situation so they could just coast through d3.

Basically Hunterace has amassed more tour points by being absurdly consistent at tournaments than any pro player previous. Also Hunterace is just a beast at hearthstone and he's taken the pro scene by storm in the last year.

So he was making a joke about being a "Hearthstone Master" (aka pokemon master) from hitting 150.

That's why I quoted the reply someone left in that thread:

Use strength on the truck to find your 151st point.

Because it took the pokemon reference a step further by tying in the rumor that you could catch mew if you did certain things.

That's really unfortunate that you have lynchable offenses that would kill town.

The idea is that Zam did things that you should never do as town.

The defense is that "its zam and he always does things that town should never do".

To which my stance is that if he wants me to not try to lynch me he needs to level up his town game and not make plays only scum would make.

And this time he was scum, but i maintain that even had he not been scum that it was still very much lynch worthy.

Zam needed to be lynched on day 1 for his absurd backpedal. His confirming flip could implicate Corrik because it might seem possible that the backpedaling was from Zam not wanting to lead the charge (such as it was) on scummate corrik of all people.

And sultan who said i was "just being an asshole" to him was scum as well. Im not sure how any points i made against him were assholeish, the biggest slip iirc was him using definitive terminology about the alignment of others.

But its okay, new and/or bad players can't possibly be scum guys. Lets lynch the guy who has made a real effort to be around in spite of less than ideal availability.

I am sorry i got so upset afterwards because i know its just a game, but i thought i made it pretty clear that work was (and continues to be) kicking my ass in terms of me having to skip my breaks until the end of my shift and pull tge weight of several employees throughout. The implication that i was around and simply choosing not to post was actually very hurtful.

I was just about to ask if they'd fixed the low inventory size but from that earlier post it sounds like no. That was what instantly ruined the game for me. The focus is exploring to gather resources, why give me the smallest inventory imaginable so that I can never pick anything up?

It takes very little time/resources to expand your resources so I was never bothered by this.

Also they added difficulty levels so you can actually just play the game in free play mode if you just want to explore.

I know I shouldn't even post at night in the slighest bit, but fuck it, I've actually been fighting back tears and I think posting this will provide relief.

I'm just upset that in addition to having to work my ass off at work just so other people can get their breaks and I typically get screwed out of mine until 7 hours after my shift starts. In spite of all this (which was more or less explained this in T1,P413, but heaven forbid anyone but me should remember anything that has previously been said in the game) I manage to be the hardest working person in the mafia game and I get fucked over because I'm too busy being the hardest working person in real life too.

I have a lot more to say, and by then the "moment" will be passed and all I'll get in reply is how I should have played differently if I didn't want to be lynched, but that's all going to be bullshit.

Anyways, I've already said too much so I'll stop. I still have another hour or so to finish cleaning the goddamn restaurant all by myself because somehow that makes sense.

Apologies to the hosts for speaking at night. I'll gladly suspend myself from the following mafia game or whatever.

A b8 special is just a lynch on someone who was not a focal point that builds steam quickly as the day is winding down.

It does not require a full majority and a hammer per se, just a swiftly developed plurality.

I personally don't like them, but every so often they hit scum, and other times they still provide valuable information based on the frantic nature of the end of day resulting in some interactions that are insightful in hindsight.

Nothing about the 5tar special from day 1 stands out overly much though.

Maybe i'm just not astute enough to realize how my play has differed at all between PW, Blade and this game. I mean I rolled town all 3 so that's something, but I don't feel like i've put in any different amount of effort. Whatever it is I must just be too close to see it.

Now that I've super-fast-skimmed (still took over an hour) I've at least taken a cursory glance at every post to current.

With that in mind I would *suggest* that we kill Zam because I think he is scum.

But no one will get on board with that and Zam can't be the only scum so we look elsewhere. And to me elsewhere means somewhere between Zach / Fake / Sultan / ScareNana who have all seemed bad at various points.

Between those I'd prefer Fake. I don't like all the handwaiving that's been done to explain Fake not knowing anything. It's reached the point where it's more reasonable for me to believe it was deliberately crafted ignorance than to believe that we are going on 120 hours into a game and Fake has somehow conspired to not do the tiniest bit of research into common terms/roles/etc about a game he's participating in.

If the roles were reversed and I were hopping into a game that I was unfamiliar with and I KNEW that everyone else in the game was much more familiar/practiced then you can bet I'd have done a modicum of research before the first day began, and you can bet i'd be looking things up throughout rather than making the "hrmmm, what does THAT mean?" posts over and over and over again.

So yeah, that's my choice.

My current hot take on night 1 is that if Plum was an SK kill then I was the intended night 1 kill and someone kept me safe. Because as we learned in Blade Mafia I'm apparently a valid night 1 target.
