Game 9 was against Zoo Warlock.

This guy drew cards and drew cards and drew cards. Fortunately he didn't really PLAY cards for the first couple turns and I was able to thalnos+swipe the worst of his threats before setting up an impossible wall with spreading plague. No togs or waggles necessary since he was actually on pace to beat me to emptying his deck. Record: 9-0

Game 10 was against Odd Paladin.

My first badly drawn game! I got some ramp, but it didn't develop into any card draw, meanwhile he played Sword of Justice and so instead of 1/1s he had a board full of 2/2s. I had 2 turns in a row where a swipe draw would have equalized the game and I could have likely held on, but the swipe draw came one draw too late, and I had used my thalnos + wrath + wrath the previous turn and was unable to find it so I lost. The 12-0 dream is DEAD. Record: 9-1

Game 11 was against Token Druid.

I had a nice mulligan for the druid mirror and felt pretty confident. Turn 2 wild growth into turn 3 wild growth + bloodmage thalnos. I couldn't conceive of a reason that I would need a 2 damage swipe in the druid mirror so I wanted him down that turn to get my cycling started. But then he plays Oaken Summons which brings out... Violet Teacher! That's right, this was TOKEN druid. I clear the teacher with 4 damage wrath + thalnos, but then he quickly sets up a board of wisps + soul of the forest. I really wish I had that 2 damage swipe now... >_>. I survive the pressure with spellstones and swipes, but am generally just slightly behind on board. Fortunately he didn't have a roar in hand the 1 turn it would have represented lethal for him, and I was able to UI into both of my spreading plagues and the rest was history. By the time i reached the bottom of my deck he still had 7 cards left and his togs got waggled hard. Record: 10-1

2 or 3 games left for my free brawl, togwaggle his done me well!

The Boomsday Project is the newest hearthstone expansion. It was released on August 7th, about a week and a half ago so the meta is still very fresh and evolving on a day to day basis.

Both of these are pretty similar, with values attributed to possible arena cards based on how likely it is to be a good card. Having a good deck can give you a significant leg up on the competition before your first game even starts!

Sorry guys im still around. Ive been reading along but im not sure i have the mental acumen to understand the Mzero scenarios.

If we feel that today is the correct day to test him im on board, but im worried it won't tell us as much as the theory crafting indicates.

For example (and i don't think this has been brought up) what happens if red didn't count towards mzero's ability? He was "unscanneable" so what if mzero's ability functions like a scan? This could result in a scenario where 0 people are removed. Or a scenario where 1 person is removed but it is from Ben or Han, and not Red. This would be a false positive and we could potentially have incomplete information and no way to know it.

But that's just my take on the situation. I recognize that i haven't been as involved as i should be and so ill support the decision of the group at large. I am also taking steps to remedy my availability.

Game 7 was against Control Warlock.

They either did not run or did not draw combo interruption. They tried to get Rin off, but Togwaggle is too fast. 7-0

Game 8 was against Odd Paladin.

I kept spreading plague on mulligan and they were running some weird mech stuff that didn't do much. 8-0.

If you are going behind the plate then you would definitely want the 2nd or 3rd level. Section 215/315 respectively will give you a good view of the water going in both directions. You don't get a great view of the water from the bottom level.

But presumably you're going to the Mets game on the 1st or 2nd and so you're fine going with seats near the visitors dugout. If your primary goal is being close to the action then just get close seats in section 107/108/109

But in either case get their early enough to take a walk around the promenade before the game starts. If the view of the water is important (and it is a good one!) then be prepared to sit on an upper level. Or just get your fill of the water by walking around before the 1st pitch.

Personally, when I go to games I prefer being in the first row of whichever level I'm on. For cost effective purposes that usually works out to the 3rd level, but I prefer the comfort of not feeling cramped by the people both in front of and behind myself.

But I think your best bet will be the closest seats you can find in 109/110 which will have you right up there by the Met's batting circle and you'll have a straight on view of the giant glove + coke bottle (just not the water)

Beat Secret Hunter for 5-0 in what was actually a very interesting game. It came down to the wire and the right sequence of build-a-beast might have stole a win for him, but I held on.

Then I beat Control Priest for 6-0. At first I was really worried it was one of the OTK priest varients. I didn't draw any of my ramp right away he drew into his draw engines immediately. But then he drew to 9 cards so I used naturalize to burn 2, one of which was Alexstrazsa. This told me it was a standard priest list so I pivoted to a maximum armor strategy while I waited to draw through my deck. But when I dropped Florist he realized I was togwaggle and he accelerated towards the end of his deck as well. When I finally reached my Tog/Azalina turn he only had 2 cards left in his deck so I was only slightly ahead in fatigue, but I was around 60 effective HP and his paltry attempts to chip away at me with DK Anduin were not enough.

as my 4 opponents, and was never in much serious danger of losing. The new setup for Togwaggle/Azalina with the Florist is honestly so strong. Unlike the previous twig setup it is guaranteed to work the way you want. It runs almost no minions though so if I run into demonology project I will just lose unless I have some kind of Spreading Plague -> +Damage play.

Okay, that makes sense. But then the context makes red's role not very good.

It MAY have scanned innocent to a direct cop scan. Or it MAY have returned a failed result.

Even in the best case scenario red would essentially have been a Godfather but with a distinct disadvantage because he would be outed if he was ever targetted by the Watcher. Right?

So we have a cop and a scum role that might have countered it. And a watcher, but so far nothing that seems to interact with it.

The good news is my wife starts work again tomorrow (she works at a school) so i'll be awake early (well, early for me) and will have time to play before work, rather than having to stay up late after work. I'll see you all in the morning. Let's try not to end too early. 1 vs 8 seems impossible to lose, but I feel like some theory crafting is still in order before we end the day.

And to take that a step further, why was the unscanneable visible to the watcher? Does that not count as a proper scan?

And if red had been proper scanned would it have returned a result of 'innocent' or of 'failed'?

He claimed vanilla so im inclined to believe the former otherwise he would have had to pivot his claim to match a failed result? Im having trouble wrapping my head around the logic behind the actions.

This is a red/leo scum team so there is clearly some experience behind them. I have to imagine that there was thought put into these actions and some kind of plan that represented a viable path to victory. Is there some simple piece to this puzzle that would cause these actions to make sense from a different perspective?

Quick tangent: I came this close to quitting my job in the past couple days.

If I was more confident about the new job I hope to have in the next month or so. Or if I was less of a good person than I am, I probably would have just walked out. In light of panth's flip I will be primarily focusing on how things went down day 2. Based on how that day was progressing I believed as well as everyone else that 2 separate members of scum more or less collapsed and it was a scum vs scum lynch. That is a big part of why, when I was available during that twilight, I felt confident enough to use my power. It seemed like there would not be a better chance to use it regardless of who was going to be leading that day. As it turns out I got very lucky that it was panth and not leo, or I could have lawyered the other direction and killed both myself and panth. Or maybe not so lucky? Now that we know that what appeared to be scum vs scum was actually town vs scum I want to take a close look at who was instrumental in guiding the day towards panth. I know a good bit of it was the "simple logic" that scum had to be the RBer and was thus a more important target than a presumably spent janitor, but i'm betting there is something important from that day to look towards.

I can't remember the specifics now, but I remember thinking at the time that the common opinion was Zam un-confirmed someone but that it was a misrepresentation based on...something? Idk. I was scum that game so I didn't care as much but I would swear he got a worse rap than he deserved.

Scare and Foolmo had an interaction that went largely unnoticed on day 2. When i dug it up during night 2 it read clear as day that scare made a very soft protection claim and that foolmo picked up on it, but then foolmo dropped the subject. There were other conversations directing the day at the time so those had the focus.

If foolmo had been scum there is no possible way that scum would not have tried to kill scare that night. Scare survived the night which cleared foolmo.

But then zam shows up and when he finally drops his actions he ends up claiming a save on scare that same night.

Throw in the fact that based on the number of night kills each night it was very possible that kill(s) had been prevented at some point.

Suddenly my iron clad belief in foolmo is no longer ironclad because scare was saved the night a foolmo scum team might have shot him.

..but zam never saved scare that night. He lied for no purpose whatsoever.

We aren't in twilight because of lol counting. But to be frank im not comfortable with how easily the red lynch nearly happened. Today has seen lynches start building in a handful of different directions only to default back to red as those sputter out. Is red just actually the #2 scum choice for everyone in town? If he is scum i would really hate to imagine the things he is saying to his scummates behind closed doors right now. And no one is playing like they have red on the other line ripping them a new one, so that makes me hesitant as well.

But except for the Scum Doctor I don't have any better ideas. :/

And with the way he was trying to suss out if someone had claimed BG it strikes me as "town probably has a regular doctor and i need to establish that im bg".

I have historically done a poor job of reading red. Last game i would have sworn he was scum after i got lynched and i was wrong as usual.
Im willing to accept the consensus regarding him so i would be willing to lynch him tomorrow, but as far as im concerned we have Sultan dead to rights and i don't see how his supposed action would interact in any beneficial way tonight with our mason plan.
