You'll be pretty good actually. If you haven't might wanna invest in a cooling pad though just to be safe. I had to get one for my old AMD A10 and it made a huge difference in how hot it ran when gaming.

They are cheap and the one I had only required a USB port to function. Also first thing you should do is go into power settings and set it to High Performance and then edit that setup to your liking. Most laptops start in some weird middle-ground power system and you won't get the most out of your games in it. At least that's what I noticed.

think I'll be able to run Overwatch in 60 fps or whatever? I don't care to run any high performance games, just the smaller stuff, GTA V is probably the most performance demanding game I'll run for the mods but I know I can't put GTA V on high and expect a stable 60fps

the built in display on the g3 I see also has some complains but I believe it has an HDMI port, and I happen to have a monitor on my desk so that part is no issue to me either

My MacBook Pro literally has a foot in the door at this point, the battery is swollen, causing the case to have opened on the bottom, it's getting spinning beachballs a lot more often now and it's slowed down significantly.

So naturally I decided to just get a windows laptop, now I know what's coming

because I want a laptop, thats the short and long of it.

Now I know I'll either be playing with a ps4 controller or mouse and keyboard, it'll take me a while to get used to kb+ m. Can anyone tell me if I can run games decently with these specs?

as I look at the upcoming ps+ calendar and realize... I bought both of those games a long time ago... GoW3 has been out 8 years, the remaster 3 years and on sale multiple times... you'd literally have to be avoiding the game to not have it at this point

Destiny 2 is frequently $9.99, D2 + both expansions has been $20-30 for like 2 months, at this point you also have to be avoiding the game.If you weren't interested in the games before to spend $20 or less on them and instead waited on the off chance of it being an offering(which also isn't really free considering you have to pay for access to it) then I don't know why even download it.

I can understand lesser known games with bad reception like Thief, Mafia 3, etc.. but these triple a games are just a missed month for a large portion of gamers because they're always years old and nobody plays them anymore. D2 is still a surprising choice but that's probably because the population has been dwindling and the forsaken didn't seem to be hyping up as many people as they thought it would

I mean I was browsing gamepads, and games that are on ps4..on sale right now in their blockbuster sale I could get for free with gamepads, like rise of the tomb raider, dmc devil may cry, doom is also free and that was on sale last week, fallout 4, resident evil 1, 0, and re2 revelations, fallout 4, oblivion, hitman, sims 4(on console it sucks though), etc.. for no more than the cheap subscription fee.

I guess it's cause of the lack of games that are truly only on xbox but man... this would be GREAT on ps4.

Kara is supposed to represent the motherly side, where Androids CAN care for humans, and Carl the fatherly side where humans can care for Androids. That dynamic was ruined at the half hearted reveal just to tell us "Well androids can love too" which at that point we've already seen a few times

I played the 1st one because it was basically the only game on ps3 at the time, didn't finish it then. Uncharted 2 because it was supposed to be sooo good. Uncharted 3 was free with ps+ and I was looking for something to play so I humored myself, Uncharted 4 because it was on sale for $10 so figured for 10 bucks I might as well. Golden Abyss was also a freebie on ps+

Uncharted in a nutshell is a very generic action-adventure game. It has all the makings of the generic action adventure game. Pointless shootouts/battles, the 2 minutes of exploration per gunfight where you have to figure out where to go(very helpfully marked with telltale signs, such as a sudden yellow border or it being the only crack/rock cliff in the mountain, the banter, and overuse of set pieces that make you wonder if your next jump is going to turn into a cutscene

If you played any of the new Tomb Raiders, you basically played Uncharted
