Azumanga Daioh (Looks cute but it isn't available for streaming on Crunchyroll and I don't feel like tracking it down otherwise)
Fate/Zero (I hated the Kara no Kyoukai movies, no interest in jumping into a big ufotable franchise)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (I've done no research on this but I guess it's a long franchise or something, maybe someday)
Legend of the Galactic Heroes (100+ episodes, too long to jump into)
Paranoia Agent (Not on Crunchyroll and I'm lazy)
Saint Seiya (A quick glance at MAL shows this is one of those anime with a huge extended universe of sequels and prequels that I don't feel like untangling)
Steins;Gate (Already played the VN recently, will probably watch in a year or two)
Yu Yu Hakusho (100+ episodes, too long to jump into at the moment)

Regardless of origin (which I don't know despite being one of the few to watch the show), the people from Daddy of Light are still fictional characters (or, at a minimum, they are exactly as fictional as Dangerous Ariana or Yosuke Matsuda who have both been in the contest before). Why are we even arguing about this. Either exclude Ariana for consistency or let GMUN have his pet project that might not even make it into the contest.

I doubt I'll be as much of a presence in this as I was the last two years. I don't know what schedule the new host will adhere to but I'm not going to sacrifice sleep like I did to try and catch early rounds in the past. The wifi network I use at work also went down recently, leaving me leeching off a free one from the next building over that's way less reliable. Given the short length of some rounds I imagine I'll wind up missing some entirely.

Still, I'll save if I catch the rounds so let's see if I can remember past obligations. First priority will be Garnet as promised, followed by Cyan if he gets in. I remember wanting to get a World of Final Fantasy character in but I doubt there's any more drive for that this year than there was last year, so oh well. In fact, getting any niche favorites in seems dumb if they'll probably just get booted when they miss a round. I guess I'll just nominate characters I agree with that other people seem interested in, so let's see.
