https://www.thestar.co.uk/read-this/mum-bought-inflatable-sheep-sex-doll-nativity-play

A mortified mum sent her five year old to his school nativity with a shepherd costume she bought online before she realised it came with a blow up sheep sex doll.

Helen Cox bought son, Alfie, the 16.99 fancy dress costume on Amazon for his school nativity play and he was delighted it came with the free inflatable animal.

But Helen was puzzled when a teacher told Alfie to take the sheep home until she blew it up and found it had a huge hole in its bottom as well as red lips and eyelashes.

Mum of two Helen, 46, then found the same sheep on sale as a stag night bonkin sheep and is now devising a way to steal it away from her unaware son.

Helen, a psychology student, from Alloa, Scotland, said, Hes probably in his room right now stuffing Lego in the hole.

I just cant believe it. I dont know whether to laugh or cry. How am I going to explain this to his teachers?

I have no idea if theyve seen it was a sex toy and thats why they sent it home Im mortified.

The outfit, which Helen bought on Amazon in November, was listed as Labreeze kids boys brown shepherd costume inflatable sheep nativity fancy dress outfit.

It arrived two weeks ago, and after checking the costume fit, Helen packaged it up in a name-tagged bag for Alfie to take into school on 26 November.

But when Helen went to pick Alfie up from school on the 6 December a week before the nativity she noticed the sheep in his bag.

Helen added, I asked him, why have you brought the sheep home Alfie?

It was part of his costume and I thought he might have been naughty and snuck it out of school.

But he said the teacher had given him it to bring home, so I let it go.

When they got home, Helen suggested she blow the sheep up for her young Alfie to play with then the penny dropped.

It took forever to blow up I was stood there blowing and blowing until the air reached its legs, said Helen, who lives with husband Chris, 46.

I hurriedly popped the stopper back in so it wouldnt deflate and suddenly spotted the huge hole in the bum. I couldnt believe what I was seeing.

Helen made an audible gasp, making Alfie question what was wrong.

She added, I told him, You cant have this sheep Alfie but he kept asking why so I had to make up a reason.

I told him it didnt look like a proper sheep because it had a moustache, red lipstick and a bow on its head, but he still wanted to play with it. I couldnt think of any more reasons why not.

Alfie soon discovered the hole and asked what it was for, so Helen told him it was for the sheeps toilet paper.

Without knowing how to get the sex-sheep back from her son, Helen has now devised a plan to get the sheep back without any awkward expanation by telling Alfie the Elf of the Shelf took it.

So ~56 hours of that 168 is dedicated is sleep.

Land of the free and home of the shaved?

A California teacher was arrested on child endangerment charges after she seemingly was caught on video cutting hair off a student's head while shouting incorrect lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Margaret Gieszinger, 52, was taken into custody after police responded to reports of a teacher endangering students with a "pair of scissors" at University Preparatory High School in Visalia, the Visalia Times-Delta reported Wednesday.

Video posted online showed the woman telling a student to "take a seat" in a chair placed in front of the classroom.

Gieszinger loudly shouted wrong lyrics of the national anthem while allegedly chopping off a couple chunks of the student's hair and tossing it behind her.

After the student got up from the seat, Gieszinger could be heard shouting, "Next! I'm not done. Next! Next!" She then appeared to select students from the classroom to come up.

One student is heard on video shouting, "Don't you touch me!" as Gieszinger appeared to walk throughout the classroom with the scissors.

Gieszinger seemingly then grabbed a female student's hair and pulled it up while wielding the scissors in the air. The student got away, while the teacher continued to walk about while angrily singing the national anthem.

Students appeared to yelp and frantically leave the classroom. The student filming the video ran from the room, as classmates asked if they caught the incident on video.

According to the high school's website, Gieszinger teaches science at University Preparatory. Principal Eric Thiessen reportedly told students Wednesday afternoon that "all students are safe" following what unfolded in the classroom.

One of Gieszinger's students told the Visalia Times-Delta that what the teacher did "is inexcusable," and called her actions out of character.

"She is a loving and kind lady. She is usually all smiles and laughs," the student said. "This is not the Miss G. we know and love."

Gieszinger's teaching credentials were suspended for 14 days in both 2007 and 2016, the news outlet noted, citing the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The reason for the suspension was not clear.

Online records from the Tulare County Sheriff's Office show that Gueszinger was booked Wednesday on suspicion of felony child endangerment. Her bond was set at $100,000.

The real problem with our government is systemic. Trump of all people pointed it out recently by openly admitting to it.

When asked about the rising national debt, his response was "I won't be here when it blows up"

Politicians (from both sides) aren't working for the good of America. They're working to get reelected. They are just giving the people short term gratification and putting off the fallout for another day.

How does THAT get fixed, or even addressed?

Revolution.

If elected officials ignore what the people want, the people will eventually want blood.

Republicans delay it by focusing people's anger in minorities so they won't go after them.

Revolution isn't the only answer, its just the shortest one. It's also the bloodiest and most costly. If a number of important issues were addressed at their core we wouldn't have such widespread issues. Of course we are still talking constitutional amendments at the very least. The chances states will want that are nonexistent. A revolution on the other hand is something that could happen.

The history of the us is one paved in blood. Pretty much every major regulation we have ever implemented has happened due to people dying.

I don't see any way the current state of the us will get better without spilling blood of those at the top.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/419979-over-a-thousand-absentee-ballots-possibly-destroyed-in-controversial-north

Over a thousand absentee ballots from likely Democratic voters may have been destroyed in the race for North Carolina's 9th Congressional District last month as allegations of fraud on behalf of the Republican candidate mount.

Youre looking at several thousand, possibly 2,000 absentee ballot requests from this most recent election. About 40 percent of those, it appears, at this point may not have been returned, Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman told CNN.

The report comes after Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), the vice ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, called for an emergency hearing regarding allegations of voter fraud.

Several voters have come forward since Election Day with claims that their uncompleted absentee ballots were illegally collected, and it remains unclear if their votes were counted. One woman on Monday claimed to have been paid by a Republican operative to collect ballots.

Republican Mark Harris holds a narrow lead of about 900 votes over Democrat Dan McCready, but North Carolina's State Board of Elections has declined to certify the results of the election amid the allegations. McCready conceded to Harris and said he would not request a recount after being down approximately 700 votes in November.

Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), the next House majority leader, said Tuesday that Democrats will not seat Harris until the allegations are resolved.

The allegation is of serious fraudulent activity on behalf of the Republican administrator one or more dealing with primarily absentee ballots. ... So theres a very substantial question, Hoyer told reporters during a press briefing in the Capitol.

If there is what appears to be a very substantial question on the integrity of the election, clearly we would oppose Mr. Harriss being seated until that is resolved, he added.

Placed between a Christmas tree and a menorah, the four-foot sculpture depicts a snake coiled around an outstretched arm holding an apple.

It's the first display sponsored by the Chicago chapter of the Temple of Satan.

The state government said the temple had the same right as other religious groups to have a display.

"Under the Constitution, the First Amendment, people have a right to express their feelings, their thoughts," Dave Druker, spokesman for the Illinois secretary of state, told the State Journal-Register. "This recognises that."

The move has been criticised on social media by Illinois Family Action, an anti-abortion pressure group.

Past decorations in the statehouse rotunda, in the state capital Springfield, have included a "Festivus" pole - a reference to a fictional holiday which was the subject of an episode of the sitcom Seinfeld.
