He has a whole topic dedicated to it. That is not how those perks work. You don't get them for being a millionaire. You get them for using the service repeatedly. If you have a job, for example, that flies you out to customers for equipment installs, your company will pay for your travel but the benefits are in your name and you get to keep them when you leave the company. The perks are arranged in tiers. The highest tier of loyalty programs for airlines / hotels will do things like automatically upgrade you to first class and if a hotel is overbooked they will literally kick out a random person just to make room for you. --- |

At most, Superman has been used by several writers to advance stories that saw him serving under the US President, which generally worked by exploiting his ties to his American upbringing. I don't think Superman would make a good long term lantern because at some point his own morals will inevitably come into conflict with the oath and he will absolutely abandon the ring at the point. He can probably stick out with Green or Blue the longest but eventually I'm sure something will happen that causes him to choose between the ring and his own personal code. Batman OTOH already made the choice before he even got the ring and that's why he's not a lantern. --- |
