There is fairly strong evidence to suggest that roughly 46% of people always vote D and 46% of people always vote R. These are decisive people with conviction that know how to make up their fucking mind. So that leaves it to 5% to 8% of people to determine the outcome* and given that these people can't fucking make a decision between 2 people I'd say that making good judgement isn't their strong suit in the first place and are likely to be swayed by dumbass arguments. In 2004, the argument was "do you really want to change presidents in the middle of a war?" for example. In 2008 it was "McCain's too old" and then everyone conveniently forgot age was a thing that existed when Trump and Hillary ran who were both older than McCain was in 2008. --- |

If you use it unlicensed, you are violating an enforceable contract as you cannot use the software without agreeing to the license. Just because the licenses are poorly enforced doesn't mean they aren't there. This isn't the same as hacking your 3DS in the first place, which is legal. But using a hacked 3DS to run software in violation of it's license is against contract law. Terms of Service are not the same thing as a software license. You can do whatever you want to a legally owned product including circumventing DRM but you cannot circumvent the legal license. --- |
