The brick rumor came from people trying to mess with the CFW. People just installing it as intended aren't getting bricked, but are most likely going to be banned.

Banjo-Kazooie

It still blows my mind that the Stop 'n' Swop secrets stayed hidden for so long. I remember magazines, strategy guides, and even the internet teasing things like the Ice Key and Sharkfood Island, but nobody actually knew how to get them. Not even the GameShark had codes for them iirc. I didn't believe it when they were revealed years later, but sure enough, I was able to break out the old N64 and get them.

Never really like Tooie as much. Went too overboard with the level size, backtracking, splitting up, etc.

B-K on XBLA was mildly disappointing in a way too, even though it was technically better. Kids playing that for the first time will never know the struggle of dying while searching for the 100th note and having to do it all over again, or spending hours trying to get a collectible that you can't get.

Still a hell of a lot more than the N64 had. :/

The difference is that a lot of the N64 games held up. Platformers like Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64 were generally more fondly remembered than Spyro and Crash. Partly because the latter IPs sold out to different developers and made a bunch of shit games in the next generation.

It also had more fondly remembered multiplayer games, like Mario Party, Mario Kart, GoldenEye, largely due to native 4 player capabilities.

It had tons of non-RPGs that were fantastic games for their time. The only problem is that they didn't hold up against advances in their genres (platforming, shooters, sports, survival horror, fighting, racing, arcade/party, and even music).

People act like RPGs are the only thing PS1 had, but that's only because they're pretty much the only games still playable by today's standards. Makes it easy to tell who was too young (or not even born yet) when the PS1 was at its peak.

In August 2017, in the wake of the Unite the Right rally, Joey Gibson, the founder of Patriot Prayer, denounced racism and denied that Patriot Prayer is connected to the alt-right.

Gibson denounced white supremacists and neo-Nazis during an August 13 rally in Seattle the day after the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville, and that Gibson also contends he has taken steps to exclude white supremacist groups.

The SPLC have noted that the organizers of August 7, 2017 rally had "promised the critics who talked with them that racist elements had been denounced and uninvited from the rally," but that the Proud Boys, and members of Identity Evropa (IE) as well as local IE leader, Jake Van Ott, were seen at the event. Gibson says that people who are affiliated with IE have appeared at his events, but has made it clear they were unwelcome and has ejected them when possible. Gibson also says "It's a constant problem because we get these random people that are trying to provoke and they're trying to agitate".

It's pretty simple. "Gangsta" cultures glorify rap and don't value many other types of music. A young person who is growing up in that culture and is interested in music is going to gravitate towards rap because they will gain more attention and praise in that genre. If they pursue a genre like, say, metal, there's a good chance they'll be made to feel like more of an outcast.

There's also the possibility that people growing up in the "gangsta" settings have less access to resources like instruments, music classes, practice spaces, and musicians with similar interests.

The only thing Sony has is better exclusives.

Xbox has actual backwards compatibility, as opposed to PSNow (lol) and making you rebuy games you owned digitally on PS3. There's also the Game Pass, which actually lets you download the games instead of trying to stream them.

Almost forgot, Sony has the whole "no crossplay" thing, as well as limited modding for games like Skyrim.

I bought my Switch for two reasons: Dark Souls Remastered and Pokemon. The former doesn't have a release date, despite hitting the Xbox/PS4 last month, and the latter... is fucking Pokemon Go.

I've also waited months for Minecraft's Bedrock update, only to find out that it launched without Realms or servers. Then there's Titan Quest coming out next month, only 4 months later than Xbox/PS4's release.

You can't really know that someone is violent until he's been violent.
Going through the legal channels is supposed to be a way to find out who has been, prior to entry.

Right, but they do also mention "credible plans for violence." Once (or if) the legal channels become more accesible, we can be more effective at blocking violent individuals from entering the US.

But until then, we still have massive amounts coming in unchecked. And even if the legal channels are improved, that doesn't mean the violent ones will suddenly stop trying to get in illegally.

https://www.lp.org/issues/immigration/
Libertarians believe that if someone is peaceful, they should be welcome to immigrate to the United States.

Libertarians believe that people should be able to travel freely as long as they are peaceful. We welcome immigrants who come seeking a better life. The vast majority of immigrants are very peaceful and highly productive.

Indeed, the United States is a country of immigrants, of all backgrounds and walks of lifesome families have just been here for more generations than others. Newcomers bring great vitality to our society.

A truly free market requires the free movement of people, not just products and ideas.

Whether they are from India or Mexico, whether they have advanced degrees or very little education, immigrants have one great thing in common: they bravely left their familiar surroundings in search of a better life. Many are fleeing extreme poverty and violence and are searching for a free and safe place to try to build their lives. We respect and admire their courage and are proud that they see the United States as a place of freedom, stability, and prosperity.

Of course, if someone has a record of violence, credible plans for violence, or acts violently, then Libertarians support blocking their entry, deporting, and/or prosecuting and imprisoning them, depending on the offense.

Libertarians do not support classifying undocumented immigrants as criminals. Our current immigration system is an embarrassment. People who would like to follow the legal procedures are unable to because these procedures are so complex and expensive and lengthy. If Americans want immigrants to enter through legal channels, we need to make those channels fair, reasonable, and accessible.

Doesn't really sound like the party takes a stance on illegal immigrants. They want to make legal immigration channels more accessible (which is fine), but they apparently don't offer a solution for the immigrants who are and have been illegally crossing/staying.

They also don't seem to be offering a plan on how to filter out the "violent" immigrants right now. Sure, if they go through legal channels, we could probably catch them, but that's not happening.

Bows are kind of overpowered. Get a good hunter or predator bow and you can wipe out enemies from a distance very efficiently.

Also, there's a kopesh sword you can get from an early sidequest that is very good. It deals bleed damage, so you can just hit an enemy once and it will drain their health.
