And then the opposite viewpoint, that being some variation of socialism. What we have in this country isn't capitalism; it's corporatism. It's the direct connection between corporations and government that enables corporations to monopolize, price gouge, and exploit their workers, and allows politicians to stay employed and well compensated despite the blatant corruption. Granting additional power to the government only further compounds the issue. If anything, more regulations need to be placed on government, not business. Regulations such as term limits, wage caps, the criminalization of lobbying practices and omnibus bills, a balanced budget act, etc. That's the source of the issue. Something that makes me depressed, is that in an era with unprecedented government intrusion, the populace seems to be clamoring for more. --- BADoglick to the Max! |

Trump was a private citizen at the time of his affair and had no direct power over Stormy or her career. Granted, if it turned out that the money for the attempted payoff came from somewhere it shouldn't have, that would be a different story. This. Frankly I don't care about either scandal though. They are both terrible people, and I completely disagree with the majority of their politics. Their sex affairs are of little concern to me in the grand scheme of things. --- BADoglick to the Max! |

Nothing is surprising or interesting, performances are as dull as possible and nothing more than people saying a script. There are never any actual stakes. Especially with how the MCU is now, literally turning film into television, where each movie is its own episode that just continues into the next one, which will just be the same film but with different characters. Yeah I don't really disagree here. CGI fights don't really do it for me when there's no stakes. Too formulaic. No real danger. They just do nothing for me. --- BADoglick to the Max! |

The cases you hear of police officers saving someone in time of need are the exception, not the rule. Atheism is not an organized religion, but it is a religious belief. An atheist asserts that the lack of a God or gods is indisputable truth. Any time an atheist belittles a theist, they are trying to convert them by making them question their beliefs. Just because atheists tend to be oblivious to this notion, doesn't mean that they are less likely to spread their beliefs. I'm an Agnostic. In my opinion, only a fool accepts a statement to be true without truly knowing for themselves.
