In about a month I'll be graduating (Aka, I'll be getting GED because I was to lazy in school to do anything) , and I've been worried. All my friends are all going to be leaving soon (One to the air force, the other 2 are going to different collages) .

Now, I'm just wondering how I'm going to keep in contact with them. I don't want to just grow apart from them and never see them ago. But thats for me to figure it out.

What I want to know, does any of you keep in contact with your friends from hight school?

Some of them. In the immediate years after high school, I'd argue that my group was more in contact than we were during high school.

Now that I'm in my mid-late 20s though, everyone is completely losing touch. Marriage and kids is what kills it. One of my closest friends got married in the fall and I haven't seen him since.

Dopends in your friends. I was in the Air Force for 8 years active. And one reserve so far. I still keep in touch with my friends. I test them all the time. And see them when I go home. One in married. One is saying a guy with 2 kids while working and trying to get back into school(she never stopped going, but is going for another degree to help her move into a better position. And one that is saying a guy and trying to work. And another that works at a hospital with some other close friends. You can do it if you all put in the effort...

Roommates with one. I still keep in touch with about 10 or so classmates. I graduated nearly 11 years ago.

No, not at all.
Most of them are dead beats on drugs or have like 4 kids.

The only one that I talk to at anymore is my ex girlfriend. I haven't seen her since I moved away during my junior year but that is supposed to change here in the next couple of months.

What friends?
I had acquaintances and say hello to them if I see them in the pub or something but don't have a conversation with them and don't have them on social media. I've had more conversations with the folk I didn't get along with as they changed for the better. Most folk I drink with though and have on social media are from my adult life as apposed to my teens.

I've talked to a couple of them within the past few months. Last time I had any sort of regular contact with them was a few years ago.

If you're scared of losing touch, then keep in touch. I've lost contact with pretty much everyone but I also know plenty of people who still keep in touch with their high school friends.

Some. I live downtown now and am in a long term relationship and have a full time job so it's more rare for sure to see them. Honestly drifting apart to a degree isn't the worst thing ever

Honestly, I've been reconnecting with friends via Facebook Messenger and it's been amazing.
These are usually college friends although I do have a few I talk to that I've known since grammar school.
My deal is I say good morning each day and if people say it back we have a conversation even if it's only for a couple of minutes.

I was able to reconnect with some because of Facebook, we'll message each other often. We never had a ten year reunion and it doesn't look like a twenty year will happen this year so facebook has been helpful in connecting with those I care to.

I'm the exception here.
Two weeks ago I went to an annual drunken get together with ten friends I went to high school with. We're a group of guys that formed a tight fraternity based on simple moral standards and trust.
And that ten is just the contemporary bunch that could make it that weekend. There are at least seven more that had excuses that ranged from substantial to lame that did not show up. And then there are a few outside aquaintences and many wives and siblings that are part of the group.
Sometimes we only see some of these people at this one trip but most of us are in contact enough to know who is where and doing what.

I'm also an exceptions, then, I guess. Like I said, I see most of them when I go home. Even if it's just a fun night out or two...

It's not like it's the 90s. There's plenty of ways to keep in contact with people from highschool and before.
