Carmella starts to strut out with her MitB... glances towards the ring... sees a completely undamaged Nia... moonwalks out (59) Backstage, Angle and Shane are still hanging out, and Angle is like 'hey, can she even do that?' and Shane 'uhhh I dunno that was months ago I'll have to look into it later I have a match now' (88) Shane and Bryan vs KO and Zayn. It's a HOT BLOODED BRAWL-- but late in the match, Shane McMahon BAH GAWD THAT MONSTER tosses Bryan up to the wolves. It's a 2v1. BOO! Bryan valiantly fights em off lasting for a few minutes, but eventually it's too much for him. KO wins after the Helluva Kick into Pop Up Powerbomb combo. (79) KO and Sami destroy Daniel Bryan with the chair guillotine-- Shane goes to shake their hand... they fake getting along with him, then destroy him too! They stand triumphant over both! (86) Angle and Stephanie vs Kurt and Ronda. A mercifully short match where almost immediately Ronda beats the hell out of Stephanie, and is DQed for kicking too much ass as she does not respect the rope break. She apparently breaks Stephanie's arm!?!? Pissed off Triple H gets his Sledgehammer to help Steph... Kurt steps in, he is whacked with the sledgehammer. As Triple H is focused on Kurt, Ronda takes down Triple H. Refs break it up, as Stephanie and Kurt are stretchered out and Triple H does his best mad face. (68) Roman Reigns vs Lesnar. Lesnar takes most of the match-- Roman does not really look in his league quite frankly, now more than ever. Lesnar gets overconfident and Roman Reigns wins with a small package of all things. Roman is the new champion! DA BIG DAWG! (74) Brock does not take this well. He heads out of the ring, grabs a chair, beats a Roman who can barely stand repeatedly. Just then... F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. Carmella appears! She... is cashing in her money in the bank!? Brock stops his beating with the chair, laughs uproariously. The referee is confused, but says to ring the bell. (86) Carmella pins Roman Reigns immediately. Carmella is the new Universal Champion bah gawd!!! Brock cannot stop laughing, and raises her hand in victory. (61) The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor. These guys steal the show with an incredible match. Miz in a shocker actually wins clean with a skull crushing finale on Seth Rollins.(88) John Cena is out one more time. He pleads with the Undertaker to show up doing the usual spiel we've seen every week in this feud. Just then... GONG... the lights go out, a hooded figure starts to walk out. Then suddenly, the lights abruptly come on. Ziggler is behind Cena with the Andre Memorial. He brutally assaults him with it, breaking the trophy in the process and shouting about how Cena is not entitled to a Wrestlemania match! He walks out... Cena struggles to his feet, challenges Ziggler to a match. Ziggler says he refuses, because he's sure Cena is no longer cleared after that beating, and because he doesn't want Cena to get his Wrestlemania match. He calls out the medical staff, they concur with his assessment. (100) AJ Styles vs Nakamura in the main event. Just a straight up good match where the story is Nakamura teasing the Kinshasa (KNEE. TO. FACE.) a lot, with a lot of "this close" mind games. AJ acts intimidated at first, but as the match goes on it seems it was a show and he has it figured out as he consistently rolls through it with a calf crusher over and over. Nakamura tries a new approach eventually, but is ultimately unable to adapt to this, as his overconfident in his knee is his doom and AJ wins.(84) Show Rating: 86 I'll do the point totals later, but feel free to comb through to figure out if you won! --- No problem! | Lopen 04/08/18 4:52:40 PM #22 | Wrestlemania XXXIV Pre-Show: We start the match with the cruiserweight title finals, Cedric Alexander Wins (40) Shane and Kurt are backstage arguing about which title match should main event. Kurt says they're both main events-- Shane says one is placed in the middle of the show, let's be real. They agree to a wager-- whichever's side show wins the Andre Memorial will main event (83) Andre Memorial has 30 guys. A bunch of joke buffoonery as most of the entries are silly in one way or another. All the "big" names are out early, and we're left with Heath Slater, Breezango, Konnor, Primo Colon... and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler looks around in a "what am I doing with my life" kind of way as the jokes brawl it out-- Ziggler tosses everyone out in short order, shoulders the Andre statue and walks out, visibly underwhelmed by the thing. (55) John Cena cuts a short promo, saying he hasn't seen Taker, but he's sure he'll do the right thing (100) The women's battle royal is next. This one is only 20, and we need literally every woman on staff as well as surprise entrants Gail Kim, Kairi Sane, Billy Kay and Jillian Hall to fill it out. Final five are Kairi Sane, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sasha, and Bayley. Bayley dumps out Sasha. Sasha takes it well, and offers Bayley a handshake out of respect from the outside. Dumb Bayley accepts it-- Sasha goes Hogan 1992 on her and tries to yank her out. Liv Morgan opportunistically helps Bayley out of the ring-- then runs over to Ruby Riott and Kairi Sane who are tied up in the ropes and dumps Kairi out of the ring, accidentally(?) getting Ruby in the process. Liv Morgan wins! (51) Main Show: We open with the US Title 4 Way. Rusev comes out victorious, much Rusev Day chants being had. Aiden English celebrates like they both won and they both hold the title up. (74) The Usos vs New Day (Kofi + Woods) vs Bludgeon Brothers. Bludgeons dominate most of the match, but The Usos exploit the triangle match rules to capitalize on them demolishing Woods just long enough for Jimmy Uso to steal the pin on Woods to retain. (59) Charlotte Flair vs Asuka. Charlotte provides THE STRONGEST CHALLENGE TO ASUKA TO DATE(?) but uhh she loses because no one is ready for Asuka or somethin. (63) Asuka is visibly tired after the grueling match... just then... F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. Carmella runs to the ring with her MitB! But... Asuka is on her feet recovered by the time she reaches it. Carmella drops her briefcase, goes into the ring, and shakes Asuka's hand shouting "I knew you could do it! I never liked Charlotte!" She raises Asuka's hand in victory, as Asuka has a laugh and plays along. (76) Backstage John Cena is moping... Curt Hawkins, still wearing his "pick me Braun" shirt, says Cena needs to FACE THE FACTS, and accept that neither of them are going to have a match tonight! John Cena laughs a bit, then his face turns serious, and he throws Curt Hawkins through a wall. We cut to the ring for the Bar's entrance we cut backstage to a Braun Strowman who still has no partner... he passes by Curt Hawkins's fallen body. Picks him up and carries him to the ring.(83) Braun places Curt's unconscious body on the ring apron, and says "ring the bell!" Braun holds the initial advantage, but the Bar slowly takes control as not even Braun can take them 1v2. Meanwhile, Curt Hawkins is slowly recovering the entire match. He eventually gets well enough to tag, makes a blind tag on Braun, and hits Sheamus who is fully focused on Braun with an inside cradle. 1. 2. 3! Hawkins and Strowman win! Hawkins, overjoyed, celebrates big! He hands Strowman his title and shouts "THE STREAK IS OVER!" pissed off Strowman powerslams him, but carries him and the belts back.(79) --- No problem! I think it's too much to pay for just a stat item and I honestly wasn't seriously considering it at first until I got in the argument-- then I was like "oh YEAH!?!?" I definitely do want a water chain either way, but that's independent of Rydia in any case. I've now put in over 500 mythril worth of draws into banners with Tidus's chain on it and have come up empty so I mean, yeah, it's tough sometimes. Maybe Rikku will be more kind with giving me the chain-- although in some ways I'd actually prefer to get Tidus's to be honest since that Instant Cast 2 seems pretty sweet. --- No problem! Because as I stand now she's an MVP-- and yeah while Tidus and Yuffie have a lot more room to grow since I have less of their stuff, if Rydia is straight up impossible to work into a team that can beat Marilith I think I'd have to either whale hard or pray to have a chance to win. Like it's not like I can do anything on this banner to make them more powerful. But yeah the core issue is basically, I want both the Lulu Ice Boost armor and the Gogo Rod and I can get both by drawing on this + the library, but I think I'm closer to needing the Gogo Rod as I can sub 30 the 3* Ice and am fairly certain I have no chance in hell at beating the 4* Ice through any method whereas I might be able to limp through a 60s or 90s clear on Marilith, given the relative strength of the teams. --- No problem! I mean to me as long as I can clear content for the highest reward I'm good. You can keep your OMGWTF enthrust 8 second clears where you carbon copy the same strategy every time with a different element. I'll use characters that aren't Shelke and Onion Knight and scrape by at just below 30s I don't really care. More fun to use actual good characters than draw for the OP stuff every time. Just annoyed that I'm being told Rydia doesn't do viable damage by a guy who is basing it on a non-dived Rydia with her BSB when she absolutely does do viable damage if anyone on my teams do because I have eyes and can compare what the damage outputs are. I use her in 3/4 of my sub 30 magicite teams for a reason (and expect her to be used in probably 5/8 when I beat em all) and it's not because she's my favorite character in the game. Lucking into all the relics for a character generally makes them pretty good. And if no one on my teams have viable damage then who cares anyway I'm screwed either way. --- No problem! | Lopen 04/07/18 3:18:35 AM #273 | Yeah I beat the CoD in one try with mastery with Rydia Tidus Minwu Sazh Ovelia. Took till 48:40 though. I could probably do it with a single healer and trim that time a bit I was being a bit overly cautious since it wasn't a fight that required timeliness. Rydia did the most damage of anyone btw. Although that's not entirely fair since it's super easy to get 3x hits on Opogogo with synergy since the base magic stat is like 750. Tidus had better backloaded burst late though which was important to avoid the death attack on failing to hit 130k in 4 turns. Rydia could've done it but it would need luck on multicasts (Opogogo hits CoD for 9999x3 with two Mag Boosts and Attach Water so you need two multicasts to trigger across two turns between the 20% Dualcast RM and 35% Legend Dive-- which does happen a reasonable amount of the time but still) SSJSephirothGokuX123 posted... Pot calling the kettle black here. "Oh I haven't fought any 4* magicite, Ozma or Cloud of Darkness, don't use entrusters, don't count anything for Tidus besides his USB but I can count everything for Rydia but I'm still confident I can beat these bosses because I beat the stepping stones for them" Uhhh... I counted what I have. This is what you're not getting. I was comparing what I have for Tidus and what I have for Rydia. You, having not a fraction of her potential, are in no position to fairly evaluate her damage compared to a Tidus or Yuffie with just their Ultras and dives. Hell if anything I'm in a better position to compare damages of a fully powered Yuffie/Tidus to a fully powered Rydia cause I can watch youtubes to know what damage a fully powered one of those two can do (and no one uses Rydia on Youtube) --- No problem! And yeah Lance Storm embracing his "boringness" helped him too-- but honestly I would say Lance Storm actually did have some mic skills. Honestly to me all being a vanilla midget means is you don't have an interesting or distinctive gimmick, and don't have much mic skills or particularly distinctive style to your wrestling. I think Malenko had the distinctive style at the time, and kinda had the gimmick too in embracing his lack of gimmick (kinda redundant with Benoit though, I'll admit) --- No problem! I'm already doing what I can for Tidus and am using him either way. I've had bad luck getting his stuff. Nothing for it. My thought on that basically comes down to I'm much closer to having a viable Water team vs an Ice one, and can already sub 30 Fenrir so yeah, I'd be trying 4* Water well before 4* Ice. Eventually I'll probably get both, with the next one coming from the set of freebies we get with that library update or whatever. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

It's wholly irrelevant because you wouldn't give Rydia a dedicated entrust battery. All I'm arguing is that Tidus + dedicated Entrust battery + what I have for him vs Tidus + Rydia without wasting a slot on a dedicated Entrust battery, Tidus + Rydia win out, which is what's relevant to my situation and what's worth investing in. And also that Rydia can do pretty relevant damage if you have all her stuff. Keep in mind also that if you get her USB2 later that she gets a pretty good chase of her own so her theoretical damage will go up substantially later. --- No problem! Like you have your head so far up your ass with the theorycraft and dick measuring what you've cleared that you're not absorbing what actually matters-- what I have for both, what team comps I end up using, what clear speeds I'm getting for current content and the contributions of the DPS units I have for them. Like obviously if you give Tidus a dedicated entrust bot he's going to outdamage Rydia. Duh? I don't use one. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |
