since he can't jump as high as Sonic, you can literally only hit him after he lands from the big jump and his body lowers close to the ground

Also, this is actually the intended way that you're supposed to fight him. You CAN hit him while he's walking, but you have to have good timing and make sure you don't land too close.

It's not even that... There's no consistency in the "tells" of when/where you can hit. So it's virtually impossible to get better. I really really hated that final boss. Tainted the whole game for me.

Okay, I know I was a bit unfair in the grief I gave you over Sonic 1, but this is flat out not true. It follows a very specific pattern that repeats. The window of opportunity is pretty small and can be frustrating, but it's a set pattern.

I also remember one match, it may not have been in the most recent, but one team was vastly superior to the other, but the other basically went "But Snake. Stealth. Snake." and suddenly people started going "Ahh, yes. Snake. Snake" and like nobody would actually even debate it, Snake just suddenly became a super stealth god out of nowhere despite the fact he didn't even have a way to kill some of the people even if he ambushed them. And it wasn't even a terrain that was good for ambushing, the leader just argued Snake would crawl around outside while everybody else was fighting and win somehow or something

I don't even remember if the team actually won, I never went back to the topic

We are living in a volatile political environment. You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic -- you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people -- now 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks -- they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.
