I got a 30ft cat6 ethernet cable for $3

definite good price.

if you aren't aware, note that monoprice.com regular price for 30 feet of cat6 is about $5 (with regular ~20% off sales which would make it $4 (not 100% sure sales apply to cables though)).

additionally you can make your own 30 foot cables for about $2.70, not including crimping tool, ends, and time.

rounding, a gallon is ~3.8 litres
a quart is ~0.95 litres (as indicated by the images you posted)

a general similarity in appearance. the reason I suspect this is that I know I could easily make the same kind of mistake.

also, there are ways of saying "you're just an <adjective> <racial slur>" that are clearly offensive, but this isn't one. it's only being interpreted racially, but doesn't have to be.

again, maybe even without the racial part, it's still bad enough just to mock someone's appearance like this.

personally I'm doubtful whether she meant it that way. can't know for sure, but I have a feeling she didn't realize the racial interpretation of what she was saying. (I guess though, even if it weren't racial, publicly insulting someone's appearance just because you disagree with them is still pretty low.)

If I had a choice, robertson, but for some reason almost everything is phillips or slot.

I always wonder why there's no triangle, or maybe deep slotted, screwdriver bit. the two most common are the two easiest to slip, but it doesn't have to be that way.

thinking about it, I guess it probably has to do with the mass of the head or something. something like robertson probably requires a relatively deep head, which works if you can drive it into wood, but not metal. something like slot requires the least massive head, I guess.

That's why NV is better than 3

NV is "better" but that doesn't necessarily translate to funner.

it's mostly subjective, but there's a lot more that's fun about Fallout 3 than NV, even if NV is better designed from top to bottom and F3 is broken in as many ways as you'd expect from a Beth game.

neither is perfect, but F3 manages to be extremely fun despite its flaws, and NV manages not to be fun despite its clearly superior design.

I don't think I can help much since I work at a much lower level than you're probably looking for, but I can't resist barfing all my "advice" out anyway...

the hard part would be deciding on the backend. I use ASP.NET so C#/SQL Server. I'm not 100% sure of the alternatives. PHP and Node.js are two of the main ones, I think, but I have little experience with them. I tend to try to write client-side applications, so most of my skills are on the front-end programming.

for the front end, obviously it's HTML + CSS + JavaScript. And then I recommend LESS for CSS, and TypeScript + JQuery/JQueryUI for JavaScript. Angular and I think React are other front-end related frameworks, but I have yet to get into them.

(LESS 'transpiles' to CSS, and improves on a lot of the problems with CSS. TypeScript transpiles to JavaScript, giving it strong typing and probably the single best static type system in any language in the world.

JQuery is a JavaScript framework that allows you to manipulate and query the DOM (HTML) in a much more convenient fashion than in pure JavaScript. In particular you can use CSS selectors as queries. $(".someClass") finds all elements with a particular class, for example.

JQueryUI is an extension of JQuery that adds some very nice user interface controls and styling.)

For learning JavaScript, I recommend the lectures by Douglas Crockford. I had been trying to learn web programming *forever* and watching these, everything finally clicked.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2ifWcnQs6M&list=PL5586336C26BDB324
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxAXlJEmNMg&list=PL7664379246A246CB

Warning: Crockford is extremely opinionated and is probably wrong about a lot of things (opinions), but he gives a really efficient and thorough explanation of pretty much every nuance of JavaScript programming.

if that were true then "killing" a zombie or skeleton should result in a fight against a ghost

they're considered different things because they require different tactics. depends on the game but often something like:

all vulnerable to holy/light/anti-undead
all resistant or immune to cold
all immune to poison and death/dark

zombies: resistant to physical, vulnerable to fire, slow and awkward
skeleton: resistant to piercing and slashing, vulnerable to crushing, relatively fast and agile, often wears armor
ghost: very resistant or immune to physical; often has magical attacks and requires magical damage to kill

also, zombies and skeletons would be animated, whereas ghosts would be actual spirits. they're actually kind of opposites. zombies are animated bodies without spirits; ghosts are disembodied spirits.

that's work. at home I have only 2 right now, but would prefer at least 3. at home (and when not working) it's at most some combination of email, internet, game, and video. 2 is pretty limiting. 3 enables email, video, and game all at once, which is nice. it is hard to think of a use for a fourth monitor without working.

What you even need 4 monitors for is beyond me

usually mine only just start off like monitoring, email, main code window, and internet (from left to right).

but there's still other things needed as the day goes on: program being tested, secondary code window, call stack/stack trace, debug output, performance or memory profiling results, SQL server, MySQL workbench, netbeans, remoting windows, windows explorer/command line windows, etc.etc.

basically, the more monitors the better. even the difference between 3 and 4 is painfully noticeable when you don't have that 4th screen to place things.

funny video aside, you can tell biologically that women reproduce successfully at twice the rate of men. so, as women's reproductive rate approaches 100%, men's only approaches 50%.

thinking about it, though, it would still be a leap to say that that is necessarily because women are picky. I think it could even just as easily be because men are picky. also men's chance of early death being astronomically higher probably has a lot to do with it as well.

women are picky maters. you can measure biologically that as women's chance of procreating approaches 100%, men's only approaches 50%. (that is: whatever women's chance is, men's is half of it.) not sure if that still holds in the present day, but it's at least written into our biological history.
